It took me around 50 hours, and it was great. I'm still playing it, trying to finish all the side quests and get all the heart pieces, etc. I'm still letting it set in, but it may be my new favorite game.

Ahh...50 hours...that sounds like a reasonable length for a game. I got it for Christmas (on GC), and have been having lots of fun with it. I'm up to the Goron Mines now.
At this rate, it might end up being my favorite game as well. ;D

I dont really like the Wii all that much. I dont care for the controller much at all, I find it annoying. It can be fun for first person shooters and some sport games but using it for zelda I hated it. I also hated red steel with a burning passion, what a letdown that game was. The Wii is definitly a great idea and I congratulate Nintendo on doing somehting different but overall the only reason I would want a Wii is for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. =D I just hope the controller is good for it. Hopefully they have some good games coming out for it that wont get pushed back on date like so many of the good ones did. but thats just my opinion lol. I will staick with my gamecube, PS2, and Xbox for a while.............and if someone would tell me who's Xbox is at my house I would be very happy to give it back to it's rightful owner hahaha. I have no idea where it came form lol, but it's mine now I guess =P

Oh, the Gamecube controllers (at least the Nintendo brand ones) are compatable with the Wii. I expect lots of games to not take advantage of the fancy innovative what-cha-ma-call-it technology of the new Wii controller with time and work nicely with the GC controllers, plus for non-GC owners you're basically getting a free GC (minus the controller that would normally come with a GC) when you buy a Wii.
