Yeah, maybe the slang version.
Hmm I was never sure on the exact use of each but I always used pwned when its nothing to amazing in the pwnage area (you know a turtle bit you or something(just go with it)) and then always used pwnt when it was some extreme pwnage, such as bigfoot and his sister.
That is a common misconception. Going back to the original words of l33ticus himself, pwned was typically used for the whole pwntrum, where the degree of pwnacity was indicated by first the number of exclamation points, but even more importantly, the number of ones. pwnt has only come into recent usage, as an abbreviation for pwned!!!1, as the t looks somewhat like an upside-down 1, thus eliminating the need to type the 5 intervening characters (they can be inferred since the number of ones must always be less than half the number of exclamation points).
So for example:
pwned Unexcited statement of fact. One might say he pwned a fly after swatting it... who cares?
pwned! A little more excited: likely someone has solved a somewhat difficult problem. "Once I realized the beer cap wasn't a twist off, I got the bottle opener and popped it off. pwned!"
pwned!! Good retort! "Sorry, I'm a bit slow today. I was up all night." "So what? I was up all night, too... with your MOM!" pwned!!
pwned!!! A clever tactic has been used to degrade a more powerful adversary. "We were fighting the Super Titanium Ice Dragon, but we all lined up in a huge circle around it, casting magic and arrows at it. It didn't know who to attack, and we defeated it in less than 2 hours without taking any damage. pwned!!!"
pwned!!!1 Reserved for the most amazing of pwning feats. In fact, I can't even think of a suitable example, it's so rare.
So as you can clearly see, Bigfoot was pwned!! by his sister, not pwnt, as you claim. As I have said before, however, your confusion is not alone; I have encountered many who were not aware of the distinction. Who knows? within a couple years, it may just become slang for general pwnage of all sorts, and then you will be right in using it in this particular situation.

Dang... no one laughed at my post. I have no idea what I'm talking about in regards to 1337, and everything I said was just a bunch of BS. It was supposed to be a joke... oh well.
And Will, you asked somewhere else, so I'll go ahead and say that the poop started annoying me a long time ago. That doesn't mean you have to stop, I'm just telling you because you asked . I guess I'm just not an enpoopiast the way some others are.
