Don't ask, I left it in my jacket and bam!!! So anyway, After it went through the washer, i let it sit overnight so it wouldn't mess up. The next day, I turned it on, and everything works, but the sound for it... The back light even works. So all the files are still on, but I can't hear any music at all. Any ideas about what i could do to fix it. BTW, it's not the headphones, I already tried another pair.

Hmm... i probably should have, but its weird because everything works except the sound for it... If nobody can figure it out, i will bring it into my shop and see if my teacher can fix it.

xD, that may work, but alot of the time, teachers do not fix things like that for students...
It may work though...

My teachers cool, it's my shop teacher that i've had for a year now. Besides, i'm one of her favorite kids and she would be happy to help me out with something like this...

I had a cell phone get wet before and the only thing I did was put it on my dash with the defrost on every time I drove anywhere, for about 3 or 4 days. Give it a little more time to see if the problem takes care of itself with drying. Since water damage voids the warranty anyways (most likely), it couldn't hurt to *carefully* take the outer screws out and pull it apart, and just let it sit open for at least a day. There are some areas was in there that are likely to still be wet. Good luck.

My sister did that with her iPod, and my sted father and I told her to keep it out to dry, what did she do? She put it on the charger, right after it came out, now it is dead...

I did the same thing with my piece of crap MP3 player, except I left it in my jean pocket. At first nothing really worked, I let it sit (when everything was out in the open) for about a week cause I forgot about it and than everything worked just fine. I still say just give it time it should be fine. UNless this problem has already been solved lol.

Sorry, I forgot about this topic... Yay, it works again. It started working about a week and a half ago. I guess it just needed some more time to dry out. Thanks for the help and the occasional stories guys.
