I registered with this website fine. But when I am sent the activation code, along with the webaddress to enter the code. But when I go to this website, all I see is the login screen. What can I do?

Did you try to log in? Just input the username and password you chose, and that should take you to the activation screen.

Tried that. All it does is take me to the screen where I was before I hit the Login link.

Then you need to make sure that you have cookies enabled in your browser. Depending on what browser you use, do a Google search for:
how to enable cookies in <my browser>
where <my browser> is replaced by Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, or whatever you use.
Let me know if that helps.

I checked my browser. Cookies are enabled. Even more intresting, when I go over to my friend's computer, he can login. Now I'm really confused.

I'll look more closely at this problem tomorrow. Sorry, but right now I don't have an internet connection at home and I've actually been doing everything at work. I also have to finish up the pages for the Magazine...

Hmm... according to my attempts to access your account, laughingfool does not exist. Please try to re-register; I'm sorry for any trouble.
Oh, wait... I see that you registered as "thelaughingfool". Have you been logging in with that name? If you want, I can try to get a new activation link sent to you, if we can't you logged in as-is.

[white]More ing spam posts. Who the hell is doing this? I mean seriously, hacker punks and sales scam artists have nothing better to do than make spam posts at an RPGM2 board? Did ProBoards get hacked or something?[/white]

This forum allows anonymous posting for obvious reasons: if you can't login to your account, you need somewhere to let us know. Of course, that opens things up for spamming, but there's not a whole lot I can do about that. This does not mean that ProBoards has been hacked.
People typically make spam posts with a bunch of links so that when Google crawls the page the sites that are linked to get a lot of hits, which increases their page rank. I wouldn't consider the post above to be one of those, just to be someone who was bored or something.
I don't really care, either way. If someone wants to spend their time making pointless posts, that's fine with me. This forum is near the bottom of the page and probably goes unnoticed by most.
