I just wanted to let you guys know that yesterday was a record day. I'm amazed. Here are some stats, and the typical averages, not counting yesterday. Stat | Average | Yesterday | Page Loads | 552 | 1386 | Unique Visitors | 87 | 368 | Ad Clicks | 9.7 | 34 | Ad Revenue | $2.03 | $20.67 |
That is truly amazing. And yes, that $20.67 made just yesterday is not a typo. I'm astounded. Well, just wanted to let you guys know. I've seen busy days before, but wow, that is truly stunning.

after seeing how much money you made from the ads just on that day, I may consider putting google ads on the pavilion forums... the site and forum would pay for themselves.

And you'd get money for the contests so you wouldn't have to pay for them yourself. I say you go for it, having ads doesn't make the board any less enjoyable for people (I'd say so).

I agree William. Besides, I don't even look at the ads half the time every other day i click on some of them, for Doan, but most of the time i don't notice they are there. Go for it Valk!

We're getting closer and closer to the $100 that needs to be earned before Google mails a check. Currently, our total is $58.75. Thanks for the clicks, they are much appreciated.

I've had the ads up exactly three weeks. The total is still $58.75 (it seems sometimes there are awesome days and then there are like 5 0's in a row). The amount of clicks would probably go up a lot if I added an ad here on the message boards, but I really would like to avoid that, as these ads are no longer necessary to pay for my site. They are now merely earning money to apply towards contests and towards getting everyone a file transfer system. Of course, making a new update to my site would probably help the ad situation a lot, too.

Ahh, you're right, ves. I was exaggerating a bit. Here's how it went:
34 clicks Tuesday for $20.67 1 click Wednesday for $0.79 0 clicks Thursday and Friday 42 clicks Saturday for $6.79 0 clicks Sunday and Monday 43 clicks so far today for $17.71
and the total is now $76.46!
So it wasn't exactly 5 days in a row that there were 0's, I just think it's funny that some days there will be like 40 and others 0, but hey, I'm definitely not complaining.
Multiple clicks in one day do count, but I think that if you click more than 5 or 6 ads in a day, your clicks start to count for less and less (at least for that day). Of course, if you have a dial-up connection or a changing IP address, there is no way to tell that you've clicked a bunch of times.
We're almost halfway to a contest prize! I'll have to announce the first contest here pretty soon.

That would explain the huge difference in money earened on those two days where the click difference was one.
