Here are some screenshots and a couple mpg files of Nash's new thingy called "RPGM2VGVMMM" That stands for: Role Playing Game Maker Two VideoGame-Video Mecha Mage Movie. The 2 mpg files cover the whole thing so you don't need to have a max drive now to see this. They are about 1 minute each. Part One: Both of those images link to the same file. Part two: I found this to be an entertaining effort. Nice VFX and a good start on hopefully a full movie thingy for RPGM2. I always wanted to make a cartoon with this game and now people are beating me to it!! Oh well, at least mine will benefit from seeing this, Tabloid, and all the others that will beat me to it... {Now to run and make some stuff for The Smurf...} Peace. |

Haha AWESOME, thanks Rodak! Other than the text going a little fast at time their great. Sorry for the viewers who wanted some background before watching.

Basically the Mecha(Machine users) are at war against the Mages(Mana users). Maester is the leader of the good mana users. The "??" dude is the evil mana leader who thinks that Mecha should be eliminated. Maester wants to compromise and be at peace with the mecha. But "??" will make sure that doesn't happen. Then there is also the war hungry leader of the mecha, who fears and wishes to stamp out mana(if he had the abilityto cast magic, it would be a different story wouldn't it? jealous??...).

The vids were scene 1.1 and 1.2 of chapter one.
I'm done with chapter one at home, it takes aprx. 7:30 to watch at moderate to slow reading speed.
Watching a chapter will unlock the next chapter then a quiz of that chapter. Winning the quiz will unlock bonuses such as alternative costumes for people and secret scenes and stuff. I hope this interests atleast a couple people ;-)

Sorry about the text speed.
I try not to "waste time" when going through scenes because the file size grows huge. I figure if you miss something it's easy to pause it or back it up.
I'll go slower next time.
Watch for the Zelda: Tri Force (and the rest of The Smurf's) stuff this coming weekend.

Yes, the video is looking pretty good, and I'm glad to hear that your overall work is much more developed than what we saw. It did seem kind of odd to be thrown straight into the story like that... I really didn't have any idea what was going on. I'll be looking forward to the completed version.

Samurai, Biggs and Wedge is from FF games not star wars.^_^ Just to make sure you don't get misleading info. Thev'e been in multiple FF games me and Nash were IMing about FF. And about Biggs and Wedge.^_^

Actually your wrong, Biggs and Wedge are from Star Wars. Final Fantasy has used their names in all of em as a tribute to them. I wrote about it in my Final Fantasy report for english class last quarter. And I love both star wars and final fantasy. The names just may be changed shortly...

thank you, rodak. Doan's Domain seems like the place to go for rpgm 2.. so i think i'll like it here. ;D (of course, i've been browsing the boards for a while, just never posted anything)
even though it was released about 3 years ago, people like nash & yourself(among others) inspire me to keep playing. for that, i am very grateful.

Liked it alot, the camera angles where nice, the VFX where awesome, the mirror was neat. Yeah dont wanna spoil anything so yeah good job! or should I say oodlakoon!

Who's Virk? Great Stuff Nash! I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. And I found myself more glued to the TV as it got further into the "movie". I'm definitely looking forward to the remainder of it. Did you listen to my advice about making the mirror less blue and more grey/silverish? It seemed less blue than I remembered it from before. Have any estimated release date for the next chapter(s)? |

The next release will have a chapter select and some BG info about the story so you can have a clue as to whats going on. What did you think of the story so far?
No idea for next release, depends on my ambition level. I'll probably do increments of 2 chapters and you can pick it up at any time as they'll all have all the chapters prior to.
I forgot about the mirror color thingy lol.
