I did run into a problem with the square menu, it froze the game when I was done and tried to get out of it. How many times did this problem occur? I never had it happen to me, so I want to make sure anything causing it is removed. The talk/examine button is used when the player walks up to objects, like touching an event. All options in the game use custom variables. Oh, and I wonder...Doan, where are ya? I was hoping I could talk about that video, but hey if you can't do it, that's okay.

I wanted the game to have a sort of professionally done look to it. I promise that the next little update will be more playable and maybe I'll add the ability to summon a monster just for giggles.

Well unlike everyone else, that old demo isn't fleshed out. It's just a dungeon, an enemy that can be killed, a CMS and a multi-save system, that's it. I'll try and upload it when I have time to do so.

doesn't matter, as long as its a zelda game, I'm happy ;D In the mean time *downloads Plasma Dreams Demo again* heh, I have too much fun with this game Also, for your X button for executing, did you have to set a event right in front of everything that can be examined, talked to, etc, or have one action script that just checked coordinates, map, etc? Well done on that edit: What?! the thread containing it is no longer existing...... ....oh well *works on game*

Just as well. I'm working on a update to it, as well as cleaning up most of the scripts(It's quite an accomplishment for me when I can cut down a 14,000 memory script into a 6,700 masterpiece).

Wow, this sounds like a really cool idea. I like, especially, how you customized the battle system and the storyline.
For some constructive criticism, you might want to make your "Sephiroth" a little less like Sephiroth. Having him be an "experimental perfect soldier," be extremely powerful as compared to his friend, and the fact that he holds the Masamune as well.
I look forward to the chance to play your game.
