This is a summary of the Plasma Dreams saga. It will contain plot spoilers, so read at your own risk.
The arc:
It basically starts out like this. In the distant future, Gandon Corp. rules 20% of the universe, and has created machines to challenge the gods(for those who haven't played the first Plasma Dreams demo, Gandon Corp. is a corporation on Earth that excels in technology and basically supports the inhabitants). Fearing the eventual takeover, the god of change(we'll call him Dopu for now, I like that name), desires to influence the past in his favor. He can't do this on his own however, so he overrides the DNA of 3 specific humans on Earth at brith, where Gandon originated from, Van, Craig and Haniel.
Plasma Dreams Zero:
Story leading up to magical technology virus exposure in 2008. The main character, Van, is part of a police force designed to keep the peace. Once the force decides to purge all the impoverished areas, Van goes against the force and tries to find out why.
Setting: Futuristic/modern
Notable Features: One will be a weapon modification system that you can use to augment weapons, similar to Parasite Eve's since you'll be using firearms mostly. Not sure on any others yet.
Plasma Dreams Chapter 1:
Story 450 years after virus exposure(Plasma Dreams Zero), and leads up to new world/soul transition. After Gabriel destroys Ridel village, Craig pursues to find out the reason, while his friend Kairon goes on a path of vengeance for a fallen family member.
Setting: Mostly medieval setting.
Notable Features: Custom Menu, Battle and interaction systems.
Plasma Dreams Chapter 2:
Story 5 years after soul transition to new world. The cast from chapter 1 forms a new leadership on the new world. Once Kairon comes back from the dead, the cast must stop him. Again.
Setting: Mostly medieval setting.
Notable Features: Revamped battle system from chapter 1 to an ATBS and a branching magic school system for all characters. This game will focus more on unique character customization, allowing the user to create their own arsenal of spells, among other aspects that will be customizable.
Plasma Dreams Chapter 3:
Story 200 years after chapter 2, leading up to prevention of Gandon's interference in the world and ending the saga.
Setting: Mostly medieval setting.
Notable Features: Branching magic school and Guardian Spirit system, which allows you to use the powers of deceased and mythical characters from the series to assist you in battle.
So, what do you guys think?
