I seriously dont understand almost ANYTHING on this. Going from RPGM2 to this is like going from driving a car to a plane, i just dont get it.
While I'd like to toy around with whats bothering me, i cant seem to get what is going on.
Question: what are modes in events/characters/w-e?
thanks for any light on this...

Kind of like how they changed the names of switches to flags. Modes are the same as pages.

thanks it seems there is more to it on these 'modes'. example: you can set what they say at day/night (if they are there during those times), or what animation they do when you talk to them, what they occasionally do while standing or walking (i see that you can make them wander, move right-left, and up-down). Fairly cool I'd say, as there are quite a bit of animations they can perform

I have an example of what I use the modes for. I have a girl walking around town, and when you talk to her she says "back off bitch, I am sick of your !", then, after, I have it move to mode 2. In the second mode I have her say "what part of what I just say did you not understand!? Let me spell it out for you.... Piss off!", then it switches back to mode 1. What I like about this is that you dont need flags to do this anymore.
