Want me to do VFX and/or Cutscenes for you? Or just want me touch some up? I can make a number of things with the VFX editor no problem at all. I can make guns, chainsaws, AK's, rocket launchers, etc. You can see some examples of my vfx skills at my website, where you can view a number of screens on my games. robbotronstudios.tripod.comAll I want in return is to be credited for my work. Edit: there is another thing I want to add, I will get your VFX done as soon as I can, but I do live in the real world, and often in my life I have real life problems, and there is more important things in my life. But I will get your VFX done as soon as I am able too.

In another thread where you mentioned this idea I said that I would love to get a VFX cow (Holstein?) so I could make a game for it.
I tried, but wound up with a bunch of cow parts that did not look good at all. And animated worse.
It does not matter if it needs two separate VFX layered... I have no sense of memory conservation (yet?) so it can be as big as needed to look good.
Besides, I have experience coordinating many layered VFX from Videogamedrome, so if it looks like a cow and not what I wound up with... we got ourselves a collaborative effort here!
Peace.

Okay, I know I could make a decent looking cow if I made it a black cow. Or I could challenge my self to a holstien cow, I could make one, but it would have to look kind of cartoony, since it would have to be all vfx, and no model in the game could be modified into a cow. Do you want me to download your demo and do this? or do you want to send me the latest version and Ill get to it tonight? Your call.

Just play around with a blank file (do the old start on easy and change to hard bit).
I'll use it for a complete game unto itself.
I wanted a cow as the main character for The Clean Underwear Quest, but was unable to get it right.
If a Holstein is absolutely impossible, I may or may not be interested in a black cow.
I like cartoony looking things so feel free to "get creative" and even if it does not lead to a Barn Stormer of a game, I'd probably use it for that short animated cartoon I've been threatening to make for a while now.
Thanks!
Peace.

Now that's what I call Super Service!
Do people notice when I use lines from The Three Stooges like that, or do they just think I'm being melodramatic?
Anyway... Thanx!
Peace.

For those who may have been hesitant to accept such an unprecedented offer as a VFX service, I say think again!
I have been playing around with a VFX Cow which Bigfoot was kind enough to create and send to me in a blank file because of my comments.
It is a thing that I could never quite get right. Well, he found the missing element from my designs (he never saw mine, he just found what I missed). It will definitely star in either a game as the main character or an RPGM2 Mooovie.
It may even spawn the first actual collaborative effort in RPGMaker history (so far as I can tell).
Screnshots will follow as soon as I get my newish PC in a better position for connecting to the PS2. Probably this weekend.
So thanks (again) Bigfoot and expect to hear / see more of this Cow after Videogamedrome is complete.
If I decide to remake The Clean Underwear Quest, rather than debug it's buggyness, this may well become my main character. I only used the Sheep 'cuz there was no Cow.
Sorry to double post.
As the Japanese would say... Sasume!
Peace.

A big thanks to Bigfoot721 for his VFX. I had him help me with quite a bit of VFX needed for my farm sim, and it was done . He helped me with the famous cow (mine sucked, royally), the tools, and my own logo. Thanks BF721 ;D

Awaiting my next request, c'mon poeple. challenge me As you know, I am taking screenshots for two different guides. One for RPGM3's Characters and one for RPGM2's VFX Editor. After seeing how long it took to place one of each male 3D character on maps and get decent shots, I now think the arrival of the first set of VFX Editor screen shots could be greatly accelerated if I had my "Hall Of VFX Objects" Created for me! I was going to just place one of each object on a map so I could walk an invisible character by them and take shots. The map can be crowded to the point of blur because I can stop the character and take the shot, then move and repeat. But if you find blur annoying, several linked maps is not a problem. It's tedious, and boring systematic work. But it's for a great cause! Lemme Know Watcha Tink... Peace.

I am glad that you came to me for this Rodak! I would be more than happy to contribute to the VFX Faq. I have much experience making VFX objects, such as weaponry to farm tools like a watering can. I will also think of many other things to make. I will start on a blank file soon, when do you need this done?

Given the nature of these projects, at your convenience is fine.
My schedule is roughly thus: Next Weekend finish RPGM3 Character Guide Screenshots.
Weekend after that; Begin producing Text for VFX Editor Guide
That may take time, so I guess I'd like it to be ready around that time, but another week or 2 is fine if it means better quality.
For now examples of the objects unaltered (preferably in "normal" blending mode) is the first step. Then we'll get into stretching and smooshing axes to create things. Feel free to make things for that section. I planned on using the USS Boobyprize as an example because it uses a lot of basic techniques and one or two advanced ones, so it's a good example. But some others to build up to that would be welcome.
Thanks for the help. It will get finished much faster this was (and we get even more names on the credits!
Peace.

If you ever get time... And RB is welcome to try too... I would LOVE a Tars Tarkus!!! The 4 armed, 9 Foot Tall Jeddak of Thark! Don't you dare tell me you never read any John Carter!! Edgar Rice Burroughs' Mars series. There are even comic boks from the old days! Here's an image from some novel covers: Couldn't find any bigger ones out there. Easily. I tried and failed to stack vfx on a tall character. Another Challenge! Peace.
