(:new) Josaigdan and the Arcane[glow=red,2,300]Go to page 2 for details on my new upcoming game [/glow] (:old) Hippy Hunt 2 I've been hard at work on it, and its done, thanx to doan my game should be availible for download soon. Its a comedy that spoofs mgs3, and re4 and so on. but only for mature adiences, and I mean that when I say it. though its a sequel to an rpgm1 game thats never been released, theres nothing you wont understand here. but the main thing to be hyped up about is, is my visual effects, I am confident that they will blow your mind, thats my way of making up for no cbs. The story is about a Teenager and some friends,(including an extremely known rpg character.) out to find a baddy named Gargantua, a baddy from the first game. Plus it has a secret ending, if you can find the secret ending token hidden in the game... (:old) -Doan posted the link below. (:edit) [glow=red,2,300]*CAMEOS*[/glow] CAMEO DETAILSIf you want to be in my next game, all you havta do is say so, Ill strip your usernames of any numbers and Icons, and then your all set, I can fit up to about 20 cameos, so let me know if your interested. (dont pm me.)

yeah, that was when rpgm2 first came out, then that data got corrupted, now the redone version of hippy hunt is nothing like my first attemped, but way better. It should be availible for download in a few days, I spent all weekend fixing every little glitch, and tried to perfect everything, I sent it out today, so in a few days I can see what everyone will think.

WARNING!!!! for mature adiences only, not ment for anyone below the age of 16, which should be ok since the rpg maker community is mostly older than that.

Ok, no promises, but I'll give a whirl when I get time. I'm really swamped right now, and there are at least three or four ohter games I haven't even tried playing yet. But, the potential for great graphics intrigues me. I'll give it a look this weekend.

Ok I've gotten to the Giant Squid boss so far. Here's what I think:
Good use of Visual Effects The camera at time sucks balls Cinema's are good (I'ld almost just rather see the whole game a cinema. lol) Not a big fan of the defualt battle system, and you don't get a whole lot of options for attacks or skills in this game :-( But it's still cool, and has some comic relief so yeah!

I almost had my game just one big cinema, then scrapped the idea.

Played your game. Very funny cut scenes. This is a Xenosaga lite (watch cut scene, play a little, watch next cut scene, etc.) . The game was very linear to the point that even though I couldn't always tell what I was suppose to do, I could just follow the path to the next cut scene. Not the best game design, but it was functional. As Nash said, there isn't really any game play here. The conbat is very simple and serves to give you something to do before the next cut scene. You might as well have made it all cinematic since the rest of the game was pretty bland. For the cut scenes I give 9.5 because they were very funny and the visual effects were well done (this includes the weapons in combat). The main problem was the spelling. You used 'will' everytime someone said 'well' to the point that I though you must have been using an accent or something. For game design, I'll give a 6. Everything worked together and there was rarely any bugs in the design. The only one I found was inside the airship where you could walk out the back and wander around the map outside the ship. The camera was too low in several places so that it was hard to see where you were, no mather where you turned the camera. This was particulally bad when I was trying to read the sign in the woods before going to the bridge. There was no angle where you could see the sign and your character at the same time. For game play, I'll give 7.5. Everything worked together and the combat was neither too hard nor too difficult. Leveling up was kind of bonkers as you could level up after every battle and 4-6 times after a boss battle. Considering how tough the final battle was, this was a good thing although a little play testing and less experience points per battle would have kept the game challenging without requiring leveling up so much. The levels you walk around in were simple, flat areas with lots of vegetation around in the outdoor ones, and many objects in side so it looked like some time was taken to make the enviroments seem organic. A few places had slowdown due to too much going on, but overall not bad. My overall score is 7.5. This game is well worth playing, if for the humor alone. It is not perfect, but there are no major problems either. Well done.

I tried your game, here's what I think:
Cutscenes:9.7
VERY funny. I really liked the whole plot played apon RE and MGS (RPG-7). This game has the comedic flair of Conker's Bad Fur Day (Urination, defecating). All of the Visual Effects were great. Not a dissapointment at all. Very imaginative.
Gameplay:6.1
Not much here, and what's here isn't good but it can walk. The camera was kinda bad at cetain points in the game (Where you first start with Dean and the trees).
Sound:8.9 Great use of sound.
Design:7.8 Some things needed to be fixed (airship).
Overall:8.0
Great game overall.

Ah, congratulations on the release, bigfoot.
The others seemed to find the same problems that I saw when you were in the middle of developing the game (some spelling errors, somewhat boring gameplay), so most of the response doesn't really surprise me. But, that doesn't make this a bad release by any means. Very nice job.
Hopefully you can amp up the gameplay for your next project to go along with your effects and humor.
(There, I posted, just like you told me to, heh.)

[glow=red,2,300]Shadow of Justice[/glow]
My new game im making right now, its about a former cop that lives in a city called Great Falls, the lead city in crime, prostition, drug lords, and crooked cops. The main Character is Rob, (same character from Hippy Hunt 2, but these two games have nothing to do with each other.) Once a detective, is out to justify what the law wont do in Great Falls. Shadow of Justice has its own shooter cbs, where you can use a multitude of weapons and such. Though to get it out there, this is a spoof of pretty much every criminal underground justice story ever made(max payne, lethal weapon, dead to rights etc.) Expect the same humor as in Hippy Hunt 2.

Hippy Hunt 2's the most fun I've ever had with RPGM2!! You're insane man, very awesome. Your VFX and cutscenes were incredible, VERY entertaining. I'd say my favorite so far's Dean later on in the game. ;D We'd speculated about that and I always said it couldn't be done with RPGM2's graphics, but you proved me wrong! This game rocks!!!
