For those that do not have a Playstaion anymore and have at least these settings:
Minimum
* Windows/Linux OS
* CPU that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
* GPU that supports Pixel Shaders 2.0
* 512mb RAM
Recommended
* Windows 7 32bit/64bit
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2ghz or better
* GPU: 8600gt or better
* 1gb RAM (2gb if on 7)
Then you can play RPGM2 on your PC with ease! How? Well it's actually quite simple!
What you'll need:
PCSX2 0.9.8 (ONLY WORKS WITH THIS VERSION, VERY IMPORTANT!)
NUVEE USB PLUGIN Needed for USB emulation.
Install PCSX2. You'll need a bios so you can either dump yours or search for it on google.
Set your following Settings to such:
EMULATION SETTINGS
EE/IOP
EmotionEngine: Recompiler
IOP: Recompiler
Round Mode: Chop/Zero
Clamping Mode: Normal
VUs
VU0: microVU Recompiler
VU1: microVU Recompiler
Round Mode: Chop/Zero
Clamping Mode: Normal
GS
Framelimiter:
(Unchecked) Disable Framelimiting
Frameskipping: Disabled
Speedhacks
(Checked) Enable Speedhacks
(Checked) Enable INTC Spin Detection
(Checked) Enable Wait Loop Detection
(Unchecked) Enable fast CDVD
(Checked) mVU Flag Hack
(Unchecked) mVU Block Hack
Game Fixes
(Checked) EE Timing hack
(Checked) OPH Flag Hack
Video Settings
Renderer: Direct3D11 (Hardware)
Interlacing (F5): Weave bff (saw-tooth)
Once your settings are saved go back to the zip file that contains the Nuvee plugin open it and search for the following folder:
"nuvee_ps2_usb- guncon2,keyboard,mouse"
Open it. Then navigate to:
"Bin" from that folder copy the nuvee_ps2_usb.dll to your Programs PCSX2 0.98>Plugins folder. Also open the "pcsx2-r4600-usb" folder and copy the .exe to your PCSX2 0.9.8 directory. Should be
x86: Program Files> PCSX2 0.9.8
x64: Program Files (x86)> PCSX2 0.9.8
One last thing you'll want to do, run the pcsx2-r4600-usb.exe
From there configure your USB from the Config menu. Set your Port 1 to Keyboard and click OK. Start the game and you SHOULD have fully working keyboard support as well as your gamepad (If you have one configured).
Note: You can only use the pcsx2-r4600-usb.exe for this trick, unfortunately It cannot be used on the default program, this exe has been modified for USB support. Enjoy! Any questions feel free to message me on here or post below!
