Also another game rises... Called the knights of the sun.. or sun knights.. The story of a lowly paid knight who works as a guard in the kigdom of Myth. One day The knight is sent on a mission with his rival Glidus to bring the prince of Rumoron back to Myth for a secret audience... Once the prince is returned havoc wreaks.... A dark knights begins to walk the halls and steals one of the most prized treasures of Myth. The Guardiana sword... With it he fuses it with Dark Cradel the dark blade to creat the Havoc Blade. And dissapears into the night. His whereabouts? unknown. Without question The young knight ( Hero model with gold hair and black gloves) goes on a quest with thw prince to find Eridor the Black and save Ironi from the clutches of The Shades... this is where the 8 party member system comes in... aside from the knight, prince Cosent, and Glidus, 5 more characters can be chosen by asking random characters... What do you think? I'm currently trying to get the 8 prty member system working...

give us some character details...
like, who they are, how old they are, what makes them worth having in the party, what makes them an interesting character, how are they involved plot wise, and so forth.

I like your characters, they have some decent depth and it sounds like you have pretty solid ideas of how they will get to be on your team. Some of them are semi-stolen from other RPGs, but as long as you're not going to try to sell this game, that's okay.
Now on a technical note, the scripts I'm giving you will only make it possible to have 8 members in your party at once. If you want to have more, the scripts will need to be modified some. It will be possible, but the way I'm doing it in my game is that even though there will be about 30 characters, situations will only allow you to have 8 members in your party at once. For example, if a certain person joins, there will be other people unwilling to remain in your party. Either way, it's up to you. The scripts actually won't be that hard to code for up to 16 members, so if you decide to go that route, just let me know (once you get to the point where you actually need more than 8 members).
Best wishes with you project,
Doan the Nado

Thank you. If my game ever gets to be good enough too sell I will change the summon names which you probably realized were re-writen names from the final fantasy series. And any other elements that have been " semi-stolen" from previous installments... Thanks a lot man...

the Sunknights game is the best!! In the beggining your only 9 years old. But you and ur pal and rival Glidus go to Slime Isle in hopes of becoming stronger... I made a little CBS that allows you to pick three different commands and attack the Slimes... one is punch the other kick and the last fire bomb which shows a fire effect. I was truly amazed at my results they were great!! then once you defeat some slimes your freind Glidus runs on ahead. And young Armen must follow. Glidus runs into a gigantic slime and all their hopes are lost. Until Kent Armens brother jumps in the air and slashes the Slime before he harms the two boys. Its very cool!!! ... Then the three talk a bit about the importance of knight hood then return to Prossel the starting village. There, Armens mom tells of how worried she was. and thanks Kent for bringing the boys back. Armen and Glidus are all depressed and really want to be knights. Armen's mother then says " Armen, Glidus.. If you truly want to become knights I'll have Kent train you until you are old enough.." Armen and Glidus rejoice and the camera pulls out until the characters are specs and in big letters show KNIGHTS OF THE SUN then it starts the opening cutscene of Armen walking the halls of the castle and greeting soldiers on his daily patrol. It's been 8 years of hard training and that begins my Game... The knights who weild Ragnarok.....

That is a GREAT opening, HolyFlame, I love it. It isn't cliched, and it's very realistic (in the context of a fantasy RPG, at least). I like how you give your characters life and emotion and, well, character. That's very clever to introduce us to the boys at a young age, get us attached to them, and then have them be grown up knights. I like that a lot.
I really hope this game sees fruition. In the meantime, if you want, try to get some demos out for us to play. If anyone needs webspace to host a demo, I can provide some, as I currently have about 8 MB going unused, and a zipped demo takes up hardly any.
Best wishes in completing your game,
Doan the Nado
