I have just converted all images over to Photobucket. I'm in the process of transferring the domain name doanthenado.com to GoDaddy.com, where it will remain registered for at least 2 more years. When the transfer is complete, going to doanthenado.com will simply bring you to the message board front page.
In the meantime, I am going to need someone to host the chat scripts. I plan on rewriting the system to use AJAX so that there isn't the constantly loading phenomenon, and it should also help bandwidth for whoever hosts it. The other matter is that of the videos and guides and everything else that was up on the site. These are all saved locally on my computer, but they obviously should be online somewhere. I know Valk and Ix offered, so if either of you would like me to zip up the files and send them over, I would be happy to. If not, I'm open to any ideas that anyone here might have.
I'm going to try to make this transition as seamless as possible. The final thing I need is some volunteer administrators. If you would like to be an admin, volunteer. If you see someone volunteer and think they would make a good admin, then reply with your support. As soon as two people (and myself) approve of a new admin (or more... more would be better), I'll be happy to give you admin powers as well as the information for the Photobucket account that I just created.

Ill host the scripts. And I wouldn't mind being a moderator, really, I would just need access to headers and footers to put my URL for the chat in. As you know I have knowledge of your chat, I would be happy to host it for you, =)

[white]Here's my coin toss into the admin pile. I still come by everyday and read all the new posts.
Despite my fading taste for RPGMs in general (I think making mods is more my thing) I simply cannot abandon the effort everyone here has put into learning RPGM2. And there's that small hope that I'll get to see someone's work who I've helped through my own contributions to the community (seriously, I'm dying to see someone make some killer maps).
As for the data on the site, I'm in the process of copying it all to my own computer as well and storing it on a DVD, should anyone need access to it later.[/white]

Tomorrow I have the day off, and was going to start a checking account.
One of the things i planned on doing was getting a domain. I dont think hosting some of the files here (vids/music) would be a problem at all if/when i get it.
I also wouldnt mind being an admin of sorts. I may not come online here a lot, but I (Like TFR) do check in almost daily while logged off.

The three of you sound like fine admins to me, as long as others are willing to approve your nomination (it's fine if you all just approve each other, too, that would be 2 each). If anyone else is interested, be sure to speak up. Drew... I'll rewrite the chat program and send it over to you. I'll talk to you on AIM sometime to get the last few things worked out and get it back up and running. I expect version 2 to be much better, well at least from a technology standpoint. Valk, I'd love to send you the stuff I have, including game files, FAQs, audio/video demos, and images. Do you want me to just send you a zip file of anything I think you might want, or what? Basically, you can feel free to do anything you want with the stuff I send you... mix it in with the Pav stuff, or just throw it in a "doan" directory and have a link to it... I really don't care either way. I do appreciate the offer. To everyone: I have now completed the transfer of my domain to a new host, and I have updated the nameserver to simply redirect to the message board. This may take some time to propagate, but sometime in the next day or two doanthenado.com will no longer be the site that it was. If you run into any issues or inconsistencies at all as we complete this change, please let me know in this thread so that I can address it.

yeah doan, just send me a zip of everything you want put up at the pav, and it'll go up.
I don't know if I can do a full dedicated section to "domain of doan the nado" material due to organization issues (I'll still try), but I can definately put it up.

I'll nominate TFR, Doyleman, and Drew. I saw their posts here yesterday and was thinking they'd make good mods, but chose to wait and see if anyone else posted. Personally, I think there are a whole bunch of people here that would make good mods.
Also, I remember DW saying he could host our stuff on his site. Also, I like Doan's idea of having a Doan's (or at least RPGM2) section for files at the Pav/Mag.

Actually, I said I would house the Chat room, but it's fine if someone else can do that. I don't have a lot of space in my account, so I can't host very much. Sounds like you've got everything covered anyway.

The bookmark icon is back! I noticed today that something was a bit different, and then realized that I had forgotten to upload the icon to Photobucket. Photobucket, however, does not allow uploading of .ico files, so I had to convert it back to a png image (easy enough). Hopefully everyone can see the image once again.

Bah, I'm forever late. But yeah, if you want to send the files to the Mag, an email to lord_ixzion AT rpgmmag.com will get it to me for sure.
I would try to figure out some way to get the files up in some type of Doan's section. I'd have to wait to get it up until December, though, because classes are ramping up to the end.

As for the admin (I can't do much for the conversion.) I would like to request the permision for me to become one. (I tried to talk fancy!!!! =D) Other than that, I vote for the people that has actually done something on this board, even if it was not related to RPGM2. (DW, Poop, Drew, Doyle, Rune, and so on.)
