I'm just curious what everyone here has been up to creatively. Levi rarely talks about his game, but last I saw on youtube, Endless dreams was looking great. Nathan as far as I know is still working LSF, but has restarted development, he doesn't talk about his projects much anymore either. Rodak had his amazing Videogamedrome, which he had an amazing amount of work done with, he really just needs to come around, I miss him. All I know about Nashes developments is his amazing mechanics he made that he didn't do with. So I just figure, why don't we all update eachother on whats going on in our creative driven community. I personally still work on Mutanic Fallout from time to time. I was actually working on it alot lately, but then my keyboard quit working. But once I get a new keyboard, I doubt it'll be long before I finish it. I know that I have said that alot, but I mean it. And as for Josaigdan, I am really just waiting to be done with Mutanic before I touch it again. That game is waaaaaaay ambitious. So yeah, I really am curious what you all have but up to, fill me in.

I haven't really been doing any game related stuff. I've been mostly focusing on my art and my webcomic. I have been around lately to answer people's questions - not just here but at the Pavilion and at Agetech's site.

I'm getting bothered by RPGM2's limits. Yes you can do anything scripting wise, but just... appearance, and animations and blah....
I want a new 3d toy darnit.

About 90% of my creative energy lately has gone to RPG2. I'm trying to make the game I've always wanted to play-something that I imagine is common among many game makers. I have, as usual, decided to see how far I can push the system by making a science fiction game instead of fantasy. Sick of 2D faceless aliens and legions of mutagenic zombies, I decided to go with a good old Golden Age sci-fi story that wasn't set in the Star Wars or Star Trek universes-updated, of course, in the light of modern knowledge. I've gotten pretty far with it-certainly the first planet is fully playable and I've got some pretty cool cinematics (at least I think they are-though I'm not exactly objective!) I've also made a working solar system model that actually moves to accurate (scaled down, of course) time scales-along with asteroid belts though, to be honest, I'm not sure that it will be used enough in game play to justify the memory space. It was more one of those, hmm, I wonder if I can, sort of things. It also really helped clarify the system itself in my own mind, so it helped in that way if nothing else. At any rate, It's been a lot of fun to create so far. I just hope it will be as fun to play...

yo yo yo
I way underestimated how long finishing my game was gonna take, It hurts me to think about it. There is so much left to do , it's ridiculous.
I want to put it out in some form though.
I'm such a loser, I never finish anything.
Bigfoot. ambitious projects are tough for one person to finish with rm2, life gets in the way. Josaigdon did seem very promising though. Doyle, I want a new 3d toy too

Papers, essays, speeches, all that fun stuff. Seriously, I haven't touched RPGM2 or XP in quite a while. It's pretty sad.

[white]I finally got around to ditching Microsuck Windows and switched back to Ubuntu this past weekend. Definitely enjoying the switch (I've actually had more games to play on Linux than I did on Windows -- go open source). Been fussing with myspace too. Got it rather nice looking. Also trying to learn GIMP since I ditched my photoshop with my windows.[/white]

Gimp is awesome, my opinion, best you can get for free, with a commercial license too (Sell what you make, in a game or direct.)
I have been working in Dark Basic. I am working on a space invaders clone, check it out in Domain Chatter. (About to post it.)

I've been working on my rpgm2 game, which doesn't have a title yet. So far, gameplay features include:
Double team moves
Limit Break moves
A custom ability-learning system
A Row System
A Custom Camera System (thanks Doan!)
A Steal and Scan ability
