I made it so you talk to your mother once and she says don't go to slime isle you are only 9... and then I wanted her to say if you talked to her again she'd say. Honey everything is fine. you just go play... but evrytime I talk to her she says number one.. How do I do this???

make an event, name it 'mom' and set your graphic you want.
write a content script that says:
honey dont go to slime isle data>>flag>>flag(any unused flag): on
put this script in the content script of your 'mom' event. set the activation to 'talk'
make a second page for the event. make sure the graphic is the same. at the top, there are 'page conditions'. make the page condition be the flag you used in the previous script is on.
now write a second script:
honey, everything is just fine... go play
put this script in the 'content' slot for the second page. again, set the activation to 'talk'.
make sure to go into game settings and set the appropriate flag to 'off', so the game starts w/ this flag off.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
there is a second way to do this, using only one script:
script would be:
script branch>>condition>>flag 500(any unused flag can be used): off 'honey, dont go to emeral isle, its dangerous' data>>flag>>flag 500: on force script end end condition (this line will appear when you choose sb>condition, just make sure to put the rest of the code in between the two lines) script branch>>condition>>flag>>flag500: on 'honey, everything is okay, just go play...' end condition
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
i would advise using the first way for two reasons:
1.) the game doesnt seem to handle the 'force script end' command very well, and using it sometimes causes glitches in other scripts running at the time.
2.) it will teach you how to use pages and page conditions
i would advise using the second way for two reasons:
1.) i think it will conserve memory
2.) it is a little easier
so really, the choice is up to you.

You don't need the force script end command if you reverse the order of the two condition statements. And I would suggest using the more compact (single script) version. Although as vespuleth suggested, it might help teach you a few things to do it the first way.
