success! thank you everybody.
basically, i just put this in the enter map slot under game settings, adv:
- Screen Effect: Color= Black Trans= 0% 0F
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)=(0 fixed)
- Party: Direction Change (Party) E 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +1
- Party: Direction Change (Party) SE 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +2
- Party: Direction Change (Party) S 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +3
- Party: Direction Change (Party) SW 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +4
- Party: Direction Change (Party) W 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +5
- Party: Direction Change (Party) NW 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +6
- Party: Direction Change (Party) N 1F
- Script Condition End
- Script Branch: Condition: Variable (Party:Dir)= +7
- Party: Direction Change (Party) NE 1F
- Script Condition End
- Sound: Map Music
then, placed data: game: info load in the exit map script.
however, i guess you still need to align your maps and dungeons up somewhat, because, if i've built a map with a warp point leaving northward, i can't have the warp destination sitting on the north end of the other map, or else my character will faced the wrong way after entering the map.
therefore, i needed to make a north end to south end warp. or east end to west end, etc.
i think so at least.. unless i'm doing something else wrong. but, this works. so, i will claim success!
