I have decided to change my policy on old spam topics. For the most part, they will still be deleted as they have been since I started the board. That is, once a Spam topic reaches page 2, it will be permanently deleted. This means that if you have a topic of discussion which you would like to remain on the message boards, you should post in the Domain Chatter forum. Many of the topics that I have seen in Spam forums could go in Domain Chatter just as easily.
The policy change is this: there are some topics that I am reluctant to delete for one reason or another. Examples include the cliche topic (which I moved to the Our Games forum), and another topic that I moved gave me a good idea of what I can do from now on. Some of you probably remember Nash's ArtSearch topic. I thought he might not like to see that one removed, so I moved the topic to his forum. From now on, any topic in the Spam forum that I think you might like to keep will be moved to your forum. Once it is there, you can do what you want with it, even clicking "remove topic" and deleting it. I just don't want to have to make that choice for you.
Please do not get mad at me if I end up deleting a Spam topic that you would like to keep. If you see one on or approaching the 2nd page that you don't want to see deleted, just PM me (don't unnecessarily bump the topic). I can move it to the proper forum or to your forum if you wish. If you prefer to trust my judgment on what is an important topic, then it is not necessary for you to do anything.
