Time to update my banner again. Wow, It's hard to believe how much my art style has improved over the years. This banner looks so much better then the last one, which looked much better then the one before that. Next year I'll probably think this banner looks ugly. I hate to beg, but I'd really like a critique of my comic. I put a lot of work into it and I'm hoping people are enjoying it, but I get very little feedback one way or the other. My stats counter shows that about 40 people a day read my comic, so I guess some people must be enjoying it. You can start around page 320 if you have time. Page 347 is the start of the current story line. Or you can start at page 358 and just read the last few pages. If you're feeling really ambitious, you can read the first 15 pages or so and then jump to page 92 and read the whole story. All you need to know about the section in between is that Racheal found Balap and Chahex running from some guards and saved them. She also bought a weapon and some armor along the way. The story line doesn't really get started until Racheal meets the Vixens on page 101.

I looked at the last few pages, and I must say I'm impressed. I think it's good, both the art and the story (but especially the art).

Thank you for commenting. I'm glad you like the art. I guess what I need to work on is the story - or more accurately the ability to tell a story with pictures.
I'm currently reading "Making Comics" by Scott McCloud. He's been telling stories with pictures for over 20 years and still feels he hasn't quite got a grasp on how to engage the reader. He wrote this book to bring all his research together and look at how comics are made. He must read a lot of comics because he uses examples from a wide range of comics from all over the world.
His first book, "Understanding Comics" is also very good. It explains the concepts of drawing pictures more then comics specifically. Good information for anyone interested in art.
I haven't read his second book "Reinventing Comics" but I hear it's not as good as the others. He goes into a lot of strange theories and predictions about the future of comics that most people find a bit strange.

I like the new banner. Did you want that to be your game forum banner?
As for the comics, I read quite a few a while back and thought they were pretty good, but it wasn't really a genre that interested me. That coupled with my minimal free time has led to me not keeping up with the series. Sorry about that.

My Game forum banner should say Dungeon Games (or Dungeon Warden Games - the full title). Maybe I'll make a new banner when I get a chance.
Sorry you don't like the genre of my story. I know future fantasy isn't to everyones taste. Lack of free time is something I can certainly understand.

Hey, Doan; Here is a banner you can use to replace the one in Dungeon Games.

I've been playing with my art style a bit. What do you think of the new look?

I like it. The battle field looks a little plain. But it overall looks good.

Yeah, I've added some noise to the battle field scenes now so they don't look as plain. It takes me 5-6 hours to create a comic page. I don't what to put in too much detail or I'd never update on time.
No one seem to have noticed, but I now have a second web comic on the go. This is a hand drawn sprite style comic that I'm doing to give people an alternative to my regular comic.
Split Shift is the story about two girls living in the city trying to survive despite their handicaps. I had originally planed to do a joke-a-day strip but it's turning into more of a drama comedy (dramedy).
I have an odd sense of humor, so I'd like feed back on if anyone thinks the comic is funny at all. I'm going to try it for a month or so and if I don't get much response I'll scrape it and try again with a different idea I had.

I think its pretty good so far. Amy seems like a real manic depressive, and you can't quite figure out what is up with Mysty. I even laughed a few times. Especially on page three. Then page four didn't make much sense, but it was later filled in. Just try to not make the characters more in depth than poeple care to know, I think you've established this balance already, and I wouldn't mess with it much.

Thank you for your input. It's nice to know that I'm on the right track with this comic. I just need to start promoting it now and see how the general public reacts to it.
I have a friend who's manic depressive, so I'm using him as a model for Amy. Misty's odd behavior will be explained in time.

I read the new one with the funny blonde girl and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's very funny, and comedy's harder to write than drama so kudos.

Thank you for the praise. I'm currently working on a new webcomic called Dungeon Legacy. Here's the cover page: Dungeon Legacy is based on the new 4ed Dungeon & Dragons game. From left to right the character are a Dwarf, [wild] Elf, Dragonborn, Eladrin [High Elf], Tiefling, and Halfling.
