This happened before and has just happened again.
In the locked thread called "Username Problem" I tried to hijack it from the reason it was started (a stupid and unrelated to the title subject worthy of being locked) because I was going to report this, and use that title (since a thread with my title was there already I posted there).
Anyway, It happened again.
Upon trying to login I received the message "Your Username has been changed to rodak" (lower case R) and to login with that name.
After reloading the page repeatedly and clearing all data from the browser (but short of restarting the 'puter) it worked. I refused to login with the replaced name. Rodak is my hero and will not disrespect him by spelling his name in the diminutive form.
But I am now more curious than ever about where this message comes from and what the fluff is going on!
Has anyone else had this happen?
Am I doing something wrong?
Who watches The Watchmen?
Any answers to these questions would help put my mind at ease. I can't explain it, but whenever this happens (4th or 5th time now) I am reminded of the EZ-Board attack and collapse of their system.
I am probably just imagining things (about the EZ-Board connection) but the incidents are real enough to mention.
Peace.

I've never had problems logging in, and I have no idea where they come from. I assure you that no one on the staff is causing this problem, it must be something with ProBoards. I'm sorry you're having continued trouble with this.

Wow, Doan is back!
Thanks for the response.
I was not really worried so much for myself as I was for the site.
It is a truly strange phenomenon.
And it is pretty rare, so unless it happens with greater frequency, I'll just ignore it.
Peace.
