I can't believe I missed this! Anyways dude, you make great progress as always. I loved the demo, and can't wait for the finished product.

This sounds like it's going to be a great game. Keep us updated about how you're doing.

Everything I'm doing is now 'On Hold'. Perhaps for another month or so.

I was very impressed with the demo you released. My only real complaint is that there could be a few more extras added; the town was a tad to small. By the way, after you've defeated the man with the axe, where do you go next; did I pass the instructions by or is this the end of the demo?

Woah, very sorry about the wait on reply. Town is small, yes, but I can't make it bigger. I've tried, too many blocks already . But yeah, you hit the end of the demo

anyway, i'm hitting the end of Ch. 2. this game, in all it's splendor (and I say that because I have high hopes about it..) is about 1 hr 30 mins long for me to run through, skipping treasures.
kinda little, but idk...

Why not making different sections to the town? By this, I mean creating maps for each section of the town. A village could be 1-2 screens, a town 3-4, and a city 5-7. Of course, it's up to you.

Still, the first town is small for a reason... And I do have a city idea that takes up 5 screens I believe.
I'm happy with the size of the town anyway.

Worked on it some, making it the first time in about a month...
I wasn't really working on it as much as I was trying to 'relearn' everything about it, lol.

Oooooh, interesting. The last demo was so good that I don't really know how you could improve it, besides adding onto where it ended of course. I can't wait to see what you've done.

Ooh sounds good Nathan. How far you think you in da game? Oh and you should check out the minigame project. How's the battle system coming BTW?

How far I am in the game, appx %age: 30~35%. The mini game project sounds good and all, but I may be getting a job, which has evening hours, which is when i'm usually on, which means I'll have to decline UNTIL i can confirm some things. Anyway, the battle system is done, and has been done, for awhile thanks

Gah, once again (3rd time), i'm redoing the intro scene. I can't seem to find/make something that I like , and I was almost sure my last one would cut it... Also, because this game's been going some super changes, and almost is nothing like the prior demo, I may re release it to show how it's different, but i dunno...

Yeah, I too have underwent this process. But if I were you, I would wait until its finished til we see these new changes. The last demo was enough to give us an idea of how the game will be, I doubt the spirit of it has changed much. Much like my change in Josaigdan.

Well... here's the thing. I had a ratio of story components, and it STARTED with the theme being air travel, but after re balancing some aspects, and the changes, it no longer is that same theme. Your right, though. I think, instead, I'll repost the character bios, and theme (in a way that wouldn't ruin the story). It's like: RPGM2 can only show emotions to a certain extent (character wise). There's the premade faces, and you can do touch ups via VFX, but the characters, the layout, it all just cant seem to get what I want done. I'm trying my best at it, but MAN is it hard Also, after this, I only have 1 more game planned, and then I may retire from RPGM2

I have no complaints about that, you have more than made your fill into the community. Three friggin titles is fantastic. I have yet to finish a second, and I have had this damn game for a few friggin years now.

I've had this game since the day it came out and I only have one complete title which sucks balls. I've started a lot of really cool titles and stuff I just have a problem with the whole completing a game before a new idea consumes me....
But keep hard at this game. I wanna play it before my life crashes around me...which could be any day.

Wow, I thought the last Sky Frontier demo was da bomb. I wonder what's in store for the next one! The way you speak about the showing emotion limitations and whatnot combined with how you used Screen Shots in The Farm Life to give people different facial expressions really makes me wonder. Hmmn... And it'll be sad to see ya go lad, but we certainly all understand and won't try to stop ya. I guess what I'm sayin' is it's AARRGGHH-right wit' me, mate. (I'm not too surprised since you're learning C++ and all now that I think about it). Good luck, me mate! May the poop be with you! ;D

Thanks Bigfoot (BTW: how is progress on Mutanic Fallout/Josaigdan?) Nash: I'm distributing my time between the following: I)Finding a job II)Chores III)Learning C++/Computer science IV)Writing the Script Guide V)Making my game That's in order of importance. While I haven't spent alot of time on #I (weather issues, we got alot of snow in one day...) lately, I have put in perhaps 4 hours a day to computer science, 1 hour for chores (dont take that long...), and 2 hours for my game-approximately. The rest of the time is me lounging, helping siblins/mom (she doesn't know how to copy and paste!) and doing other odds and ends. But I will most certainly get it done. I don't know when, but as soon as I find that everything in the game makes me happy, I'll release it. Poopiness: I'm not leaving the community, or anything! lol, I was thinking more along the lines of: 1-make a game on RPGM1 2-make a game on RPGM3 (actually, there's already one in devel. i think its cool so far 3-switching from RPGM2 to RPGMXP (there's just so much more!) But I'll still toy with RPGM2 here and there, just dont expect another game after my next Anyway, thanks all for the feedback.
