I like the last two articles a lot (I like the first two also, but I've read those before). The questions were for the most part quite good, thought-provoking questions, but I especially liked your explanation at the bottom. The part about dodging questions was interesting, I've never heard anyone mention anything along those lines.
The article about setting was quite solid. It had good, down-to-earth tips and advice on how to create a realistic setting. I also appreciated that you linked to other sites, as that shows that you are not just making these tips from your own little bubble.
Nice work, keep it up. If you would like to put an abridged version of any of these tips in our Mag page, please post it in the appropriate Domain Main thread.

Yes, I agree with what Doan said. The dodging the questions was perfect and was something I'd arrived at in my story with my main character (he replies to something pretty vaguely - like dodging a personal question). It's come up before at the forums too, but I love how you explained that what makes a religion believable is a reason to believe in it (as opposed to a logical explanation). Futhermore, I hadn't even realized I'd done it when making my story, but the way you explicated the process of making a believable setting by basing it on a real setting was perfect. All of your articles rock!!!

I don't know how I missed this latest article, but I just got around to reading it. I must say, while the advice and reassurance is good, I don't think that it offers quite as much "help" as your previous articles. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing: at some point, a person has to stop reading about how to write and just do it. It's just that because of the style of that last one, it seems like a conclusion-type article, yet I don't feel that it closes the series well. I hope you can see what I mean and that you don't take it wrong. I wouldn't have you change anything, I'm just letting you know the impression that I got from it.

I know where you're getting at. However, I don't regret placing that article up. Just like the article said, I just sat down and did it. No techniques, no tricks, I just wrote it the way I felt would best portray it.
The article does sound conclusive though. However, I'm not done yet. I might not release any new articles for a while though. With school work and the FAQ I'm working on now, I'm gonna have my hands full.

I've placed up a dream log.
I've been focusing a lot on dreams lately (thanks to my psychology class), so I've decided to put something like that up. They're in blog form, so you can comment on them or give some insight on what you believe them to mean.
