For one of my minigames idea i want to try an make a battle ship mini game. Only the ship is a small boat and you will use arrows instead of cannon balls. I haven't tested it or began to work on it yet but hopefully i can get it done. But anyways if you have any mini game ideas or side quest post them here.

I kinda like that battleship idea. As for me, I have a hard time coming up with mini-games, so I would be hard-pressed to come up with their own. Sorry

I am planning to put in a waitress mini game in my game. You would control Sarah (the girl friend of the main character in my game), and try to serve all the customers in the inn. If you give them the wrong order or leave them waiting too long, they get upset and leave, lowering your points. You need to try to keep as many people happy with in the time limit as you can.
I actually have mini games planned for all my party members. Each character has wants and desirers that effect how long they will stay in the party. You need to learn what each character likes to do (usually pretty obvious by their skill sets), and enter contests (i.e. mini games) to keep them happy. I'll post more about this in my own topic on the weekend.

If a person leaves the party, is there a chance to get them back? Or are there many people that join your party? I think this idea definitely has a lot of potential.

Yes, you can get them back but you'll have to do something first, like find out where they live and get them a rare item or something. I haven't worked out all the details. There are six champions that you can encourage to join your party, plus several secret characters you can find. Each has their specialization, so the best situation is to keep them all happy and switch party members as you need them based on the situation.
I'm glad you like the idea.

The waitress mini game sounds fun, interesting, and unique; and the idea of trying to keep all the characters happy is even better!!

I have a new minigame ideas that just came to me not to long ago. The First mini game is called Airship raid. First u must get into the vehicle. The controls for the cannons are L1 R1 L2 L2, having four different types of weapons a missle, beam cannon, a sharp disc and a bomb.
The mission of the game will be just to destroy the nest of the enemy's lair and defeat the remaining dragon flyers.
so what do u think?

Sounds cool , but what do all the different weapons do? (like, why are there so many that would basically be doing the same thing)

Yes. It sounds very cool. And I, too, am wondering what each weapons' function is.

the beam canon can only penetrate heavey enemys the missile launcher can only destroy metallic objects the sharp disc can destroy on coming ships the bomb just destroys some of the enemies

That sounds cool. So, you'd have to be careful what weapon to use on what enemy.

yea because if you use a certain weapon on a enemy it might make it retaliate or have no effect

As a bit of constructive criticism, is there a reason these missiles are different than other ones? I'm pretty sure a missile would blow up just about anything. Maybe it's some kind of weapon that scrambles the atoms in metals?

I finally have enough space to add my mini game except there will be a difference. Although i couldn't make an game with the enemies flying i decided to make an boat and land mini game. This game will be placed on the second part of the game. That is all.
