I tried it out, but after going through the initial cutscene, I encountered a bug in the third (?) battle when I tried to defend, and the game started over. It looked good up to that point. I plan on trying it out again later tonight, so I'll let you know then. I'm going to move this topic to the Our Games forum, so that it can count towards your post total.

As I mentioned before, battle wouldn't work on the world map and the game kept crashing. After trying everything I could thing of to fix the problem, I found that the game was crashing because the system was being overtaxed by a huge thunderstorm on one corner of the map. By removing about half the special effects, I got the game running to a point where I could battle again but there is still significant slowdown whenever I get close to the storm (it is near the first castle).
I started to explore the ice cave when the power went out. There was a major storm here and it knocked out several major power lines. Fortunately my school wasn't affected and I can type this today, but they said it could be days before power is restored in some areas.
Once I can get back on my PS2 again, I'll play your game and tell you what I think. Sorry for the delay.

I suggest having the thunderstorm only active when your party gets so close to it... ;D

I really tried to play through your game, but There are so many game ending bugs, it's hard to play since I have to keep fixing the errors.
You really should play through the game yourself. Many of these errors could be avoided if you tested them as you were putting the scripts in.
I was really annoyed when I finally beat the bear-like boss (he kept getting criticals and killing me), and then the game replaced the main character with someone called Invisible - who only has 1 HP!. Why is he in here? Don't you know there is a Party Display command that turns the party invisible?
When I defend, my character becomes paralized instead. You seem to be using all the default battle scripts so I really don't understand where this bug came from. If you did change the scripts, why didn't you make sure all the battle commands still work?
In the last town I visited (stornen or something - the one with the pirates), there were a couple of doors that don't work because the warp placements are wrong.
The farther I get the more bugs there are. I'll keep trying to get through it, but please fully play test your games in the future. It is one thing if there is a bug in a place the player doen't need to go, it is something else when an important cutscene ends the game due to poor design.
Sorry if I seem harsh, but it really has been difficult to play your game, especially after playing Neonash's nearly bugfree Zelda clone. The fact that you are using a lot of the default scripts makes the bugs that much harder to take.
On a more positive note, the story has been interesting so far. Nothing remarkable, but nothing taken from anywhere else either. I do want to find out what happens next, so I hope there are not too many more bugs I need to fix.

Like I said, I didn't mind the story, it is just all the bugs really hamprer my ability to play the game. Make sure, when you are ready to release the demo of your new game, you play throught the whole game at least once before you put it on the web. It's all right if people find bugs in your game (you can't be expected to find them all), but make sure people can at least follow the main story line without the game crashing or becoming unplayable.
Good luck with the new game.
