This is where all the progress of my game will go. I usually add something new to my game every week, but I'll probably only update when I have made significant progress.
Current memory:536656 units
7/20/05
-Completed all the landforms on the game's world. What this means is, you can now go to all the places on the world map now. Of course as of now there's nothing special on the islands, but they're complete now, so I can now separate all the battle backgrounds you fight in, and make all the overworld specific ones.
-Added a quest diary option. Currently, this just shows the current act(there will be 7-8, I'm hoping to make each one an hour in length each) and a little hint as to what to do. I put this in to help anyone who might drop the game and pick it up at a later date when they forgot most of what they did. I might include a custom entry option, who knows.
-Added a measure to curve the enemy difficulty a little. If you don't know already, my game Plasma Dreams has a system that allows enemies to get stronger as the party does. Minor enemies gets small upgrades, while bosses get major upgrades. The experience gained also increases, albeit by a small amount.
The first measure was to decrease a specific stat for enemies, so while they get stronger in most aspects, they'll be weaker in one stat to make sure they don't become too powerful. The second was to lower the enemy level for every so many levels one time. Before doing this I found that when all your party members reach level 120 or so, monsters became way too powerful, having more than a thousand added on to their current stats.
-Replaced the font size option with the BSD(Battle Stat Display) option. Using the short version, your current HP/MP is displayed, with the current HP changing color depending on how far you are to taking a dirt nap. With the long version, your current/maximum HP and MP will be displayed, along with your status condition.
