Here are a few mpg files from The Solemn Truth. Ok here are a lot of mpg files from The Solemn Truth. I didn't know where to stop, so I went overboard. Must have something to do with seeing my name in the credits... Here they be: Opening Scene and First Battle: (41 MB file in 11.5 MB Compressed Folder) Sample Battle 1: (30 MB file in 8.4 MB Compressed Folder) Sample Battle 2: (41 MB file in 11.5 MB Compressed Folder) Cut Scene: (61 MB file in 16.5 MB Compressed Folder) Boss Battle (edited for time) (still huge!): (60 MB file in 16.5 MB Compressed Folder) Epilogue (Partial Custom Music Demo): (41 MB file in 11.5 MB Compressed Folder) It's a good thing I do other stuff while all this is rendering and uploading!

PERFECT work Rodak!!! ;D Thank you do much, I'm sure this will give me more fame. I have nothing else to say really. You got everything I wanted in those, and the screens you chose are excellent! ;D Yay!! ;D And thank you smurf, your praise means a lot to me.

I watched all the videos and I have to say there was some good stuff there. I was also reminded of the limitations of RPG Maker 2 as there was a lot of stuff I'd seem before as well. My monitor tends to make everything dark for some reason so I could see everything clearly but what I say was good. I'll have to play the game sometime to see how it plays.

That map that you've made looks like it was taken directly out of your old game, Paladin. Are other maps and such that were from Paladin used in this game? I'm just curious.

Wow!! I'm surprised you recognized it. ;D I'm going to be making a new world map for The Solemn Truth, but haven't gotten to doing so yet. Instead of sending them back to the title screen at the end of the demo, I just sent them to a part of the old Paladin map that wasn't available before. Technically, a lot of maps are being taken from Paladin and put into this one, but they're mostly either portions of the map (through the B-Data) or general maps (like the maps that are flat grass/dirt for insides of places). And thank you, everyone, for your continued support!

I'd like to announce that I haven't at all abandoned this. In fact, I've made very significant progress since the demo, and expect to get working on it again very soon. I've wanted to post about it a lot but I've pretty much already said everything about its gameplay.

I can't wait to see a meaty demo. I hope you can balance party members in the game well.

I'm just posting to say I'm back and working on The Solemn Truth again. At first upon coming back I was uninspired and was having trouble getting back into the swing of RPGM2 cutscene making, but I'm doing a lot better with it now. I can't wait to put out the next demo, which will be very 'meaty'. I get giddy everytime I play through the cutscenes I've made so far ;D. Anyways, just postin' to let you guys know the game's progress.
Also, I'm very sorry I'm so behind of schedule Rodak. I promise the new demo within a month or two, and thank you VERY MUCH for the old demo's videos/screens.
