im making a platfrom dungeon and i need to know how to make traps the gose up and down like the one i tried to make on my video of my game life, one the gose left to right, forward to back, and one that you have to run away from.

First off, Id just like to remind you this question is better suited for technical help. That being said, I'll see what I can do for you.
A trap that you have to run away from is very tricky. No matter what you do it will stop when it reaches you. If anything was supposed to happen with touch, examine, or talk it will wait for the player to do that. In other words if the trap is a giant ball thats supposed to hit you and cause damage it won't unless the player wants it to, which he won't. You might be able to do it with equal, but I think it still needs to be player initiated.
One thing you can do is compare the event coords to the party coords in step indirect effect and have something happen if the event is next to the player on his next step.
Up and down, back and forth: can be done in motion, either with action commands or repeating branch. If you've got a guilitine trap the player will get stuck in it, but touch will work when he tries to get out of it, and you can script him to take damage and move out of it.
My traps: I didn't put a lot into my traps. Its a simple damage square you walk over and see blood spray effect. I made a detect traps ability that exposes them. I also have pitfalls but these are usually warps.
Another approach: you might want to start with an event you walk over, the targets the trap, sends it down on you, causes damage, then releases it. You can script your actual traps in motion with repeat branch and flag going off and on. For example when the flag is on, the trap is in your way, and your there at the time you take damage in the walk over event.

If you look over Nash's ACBS and see how he does damage for his character and that might help. I made rolling barrels that would do damage when they ran over you, made for a fun mini game.
