A lot of us no longer use RPG maker 2 but still like to try our hand at other things.
I create webcomics and do freelance art in my spare time. What do you do when you want to do something creative?

Be creative? Screw that, there's money to be made from Flash and Xbox Live Community Games! I'm working on both right now. Also working on a PC RPG. Ain't using PC RPG Tsukurus, people seem to be content with re-skinning the engine ad nauseum. I'm gonna show people what happens when you BE A MAN and code your RPG from scratch. lol And I'm under freelance programming contract. Yay.

That game looks promising. How do I get one of those Freelance Programing Contracts?

Snazzy work BK.
I'm mostly coding, and tinkering with RPG Maker XP. Unfortunately, nothing to show for both.

I still work with RPG Maker 2. I'm actually able, for the first time ever, to see completing a game as a reality. I think if I were to work real hard, I could finish in a few months, but it'll probably be about 9 months.
I've also completed writing a screenplay for a prequel to my game, and started writing a screenplay for a prequel to the prequel of my game.
I've also purchased a music composing program called Reason and made music with it. I've thought about posting some here, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Is there a way to upload files here? I've figured out how to make .wav files compatable with Windows Media Player out of my .rns and .rps (music program) files, but I can't find a way to add attachments on these forums. I thought of posting it elsewhere and linking to there from here; does anyone know a nice, free place to upload big files (around 15 MB)? Thanks.

I think there is a code that lets you do that with proboards, let me see if I can find it.

Here's a song I made a while ago called Sweetness. Hopefully this works. I'm not sure if people without Reason can view .rps files. The 1MB limit on attachments stops me from being able to post .wav files.
Thanks drew!

Checked out the song, pretty cool, though I wish it was a WAV instead.

Ah no problem, and you can post .wav, just zip it I think....

How'd it sound. Was it an mp3 or a .rps file (.rps is a published, non-editable Reason file)?
If it was an mp3, I'll try re-posting it. I heard a bit of this song as an mp3 when I was trying to figure this out and it sounded awful that way.
I'll post more once I know they're not mp3 quality (or rather, lack there of).
I tried zipping the .wav file, but it was still too big to upload here after being zipped. I can now see why downloaders use mp3s instead of wavs.
Also, BK has the trial version of Reason; was anyone without it able to play the song? Thanks.

It was a published song file.
If no one else is able to hear it without the trial, I can record it and convert it to another format.

Drew posted some of my songs in wav format here: forgottenpasts.net/doans/files/Poopiness/These are three of my best, and they're a good representation of my style. You'll probably recognize Adventure Time from my RPGM2 composing days, but the other two are completely new. The chord set on the third is the best chord set I've found: (guitar tab for you guitarists) - - - - 2 3 3 5 2 4 2 4 2 4 4 6 0 2 5 7 - - - - And these two go well with those four: - - - - 1 2 2 4 2 4 0 2

Here is a painting I've been working on the last couple of weeks. I hope you like it.
EDIT: Sorry, the image had to come down because the group that commissioned it do not want anyone to see it before it's official release. Once it's released to the public I'll post a link to where it can be found.
