I'm trying to make a script that displays the directional points on the screen. For example if I want the party to go north, I would like to display the letter N in the upper right hand corner. I saw something similar to this in a game created by I believe Dungeon Warden called the Sims.
I have also tried a script that would display a vehicle on the world map that had the display set to invisible. I had moderate success with this, but I ran into the problem of trying to keep track of the event and turning certain vehicles on and off. For example I had at one point 5 different vehicles showing up on the map at the same time.
I hope you can understand what I'm trying to do. Thanks for the help.

Well this is actually somewhat simple, and no Dungeon Warden did not make the sims, I did. Anyways continuing on with the script, basically you need to check the players direction, this idea is actually really simple, first your gonna want to create an action script, or if your using the infinite vehicle trick just a simple content script.
If your just using this as an action script it would look like so.
[Compass] Script Branch Repeat Data: Game info load Script branch Sort [Party:Dir] Apply if 0 (East) Close textbox Textbox: N To End Script branch end and repeat per direction, also if your using it as a content script, just take the never ending loop out.
