I received this e-mail today from the Computer Science department at school:
An in-house Game Exhibition
On Tuesday April 21st there will be an exhibition of games created by students taking CSE 42, "Principles of Game Design" www.cse.lehigh.edu/~munoz/ComputerGameDesignClass/.
The exhibition is open to all and everyone is welcome to play these games.

- Packard Lab Lobby (digital games): includes a defender arcade-style game, a collaborative PvE real-time strategy game, a first-person shooter with deformable terrain, a vintage role-playing game, and a combat chess game.

Some games are "mods" of existing game engines such as RPG Maker. Others games were created from scratch using flash and C#. Students also created board games.

My school's Game Design class uses RPG Maker. Holy crap. I'm assuming it's centered on Ruby and RGSS, but still.
