Various members of the Domain have displayed their talents in areas of RPGM2 that go beyond that of the typical RPGM2 player. Some of us excel at making VFX, or maps, or music, but the truth is that no one person could hope to be the best at everything. In an effort to make all of our games better and to share them with the world, many of our members are generously offering free services to the community at large. These members include: Realitybites - Video Capture and ScreenshotsRodak - Video Capture and ScreenshotsTheFinalRune - Map CreationThe Solemn Truth - Custom MusicBigfoot - Custom VFXFor anyone who would like to offer their services, please make a post below which indicates how you would like to be contacted (within this thread is fine, or by PM, or whatever you wish), what exactly you will do, and what kind of time frame requestors can expect something in (I know that it depends on the case, but in general, are you busy? Do you have a backlist of requests? Updates to your initial post are fine and encouraged). Also, in providing a service, there is a chance that you may have exposure to game details, including the inner workings of people's projects. You hereby agree that you will not take content from their game file for your own use, nor will you maliciously change any information on their game save in order to alter their game in an undesired manner. You will use the utmost care in performing the services that you have indicated, and will not do anything else to their save file that you have not been authorized to do. In requesting the services of a service provider, a requestor is also bound to an agreement. The requestor understands that the services are tentative and without guarantee, even in spite of comments that may state otherwise. The requestor also realizes that their request may be accepted or rejected based on any criteria chosen by the service provider, and that such a choice should not lead to destructive complaints on this message board. A requestor also must realize that we are all human and there is a chance that a mistake will be made: the best practice is to always ensure that there is a backup copy (or 2 or 3) before entrusting the data to a service provider, as there is a chance that data corruption could result (such as the power going off while saving). The requestor hereby releases the provider from any liability in regards to potential problems, except for those laid out in the service provider paragraph immediately preceding this one. I'm sorry if this seems overly formal, but I think it may be best to lay out such rules and ensure that there is no issue about what is the right and wrong thing to do when providing services or when requesting them. If there are any questions or proposed changes to the above text, feel free to post here and let me know.

It seems an equally competent (and Much more readily available!) MPG and Screenshot Service Provider has replaced me!
I can still do this, but still only on weekends!
The service is self explanatory.
I'm still here if anyone wants to use an alternate, but RB's much more active here these days than I.
Great!
Now I can Retire!

[white]Yeah, I can make you a map. As long as its not a picture of a cow (sorry Rodak). It thought I could do anything with the Map Editor, but it turns out that I do have limits. Honestly Rodak, I tried like seven different types of cowtinents and they all sucked horribly. My bad. But I can definitely make world maps, dungeon maps and city maps. Just not art. If you ever need anything, just send me a PM with a picture of what you'd like the map to look like (color preferably) and as many detailed instructions as you can come up with. Include notes about and objects/VFX/SFX/etc. that you plan to have on the map so I can plan the stuff out accordingly. Send the info and pic(s) and a file you'd like me to put it on, or I can make one from scratch and send it to you (assuming you're just starting out). It might take me a week or four to finish though (my life's really busy most the time). Um, yeah that just about covers it. Current Map Editor Info Threads: [/white]

Yeah, I'll be doing a Custom Music Service. I do need to explain it a little though. Unlike the other services, I don't take requests (kind of). It's not really possible to explain to people who haven't created music, but the best way I could explain it is that a song doesn't originate from the subject matter of the lyrics or descriptive words of how the song makes you feel, but rather from a short series of notes played that somehow inexplicably satisfies the listener called a melody. Building on that melody with counter-melodies and supporting rythms would then eventually form a song. Anyways, in summary, I'll simply be making the songs into RPGM2, and someone else or I will upload them as audio files. I'll be re-doing the old songs (that can currently be found at Doan's Hosted Material Page) and 'short tunes' as well as making a bunch of new songs and new 'short tunes'. I'll also make multiple versions of some songs. For example, I have one melody (my best yet) that I think has potential to be very silly (rodak, bigfoot, etc.), perhaps oriental (kumo, neo, etc.), and normal/happy. Some songs will also have a 'short tune' of it. So, in short, you'll just listen to what I make and choose from them. Also, as that someone else or I uploads the files I'll be editing this post to have them here for you to sample. All I ask is that you put me in the Credits of your game as well. I'd prefer poopiness, seriously, I like poopiness A LOT. ;D At first I was thinking I'd post up the scripts publicly, but I came up with a very, very, very cool idea. Contact me via pm, and if you are an active member of the Domain (don't worry, I'll be lenient, I know how life can get in the way, I just, well, you know! ) I will give you the scripts for the song/short tune you want. ;D I would estimate I could get about one song script per day or two. Also, I've done the custom music so much that my scripts are as efficient, organized, and customizable as possible. I'll post an example and teach people how to add-on to my songs here. Although, RPGM2 has its annoying 4-sound limit so it won't be possible a lot of the time. Also, this topic will be extremely important to you: doansdomain.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=Help&action=display&thread=1101863989&page=1It thoroughly teaches you exactly what you need to do to have custom music play through both action and content scripts uninterrupted via Doan and Ves's absolutely brilliant technique. It works perfectly fine even if it prevents the use of a few script commands like the Input Buttons: Constant Wait while you're using it (if I remember correctly, it's been a very, very long time).

HA! New Service Idea, I think it would be really cool to make a game ad for people to see, since I have some pretty ok photoshop skills, I can make anyone that wants one a game ad. I made one for Bigfoot and he liked it, so if anyone would like one, you know what to do!

I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to help me make a female centuar...? I had to make her a mermaid with a brown tail...
She has long black hair, a silver breastplate, with red sleeves plus a brown body (in case someone needs her appearance). And for random info: her name is Archadin.
Thanks in advance! ^_^

I guess you can put me on for video capture and screenshots but more as a last resort. I can do it but only if the other two can't. I have a relatively busy life right now. Also I can do game ads...even custom video ads, like what I did with triforce. govschl.ndsu.nodak.edu/~nbrock/ZeldaTriforceAd.mpg

I would like to offer story-line and music help. I could PM anyone who needs help to develop thier story for a game, and I could compose MIDIs for games, then email the MIDI for the person convert into scripts with the script maker software. PLEASE!! I want to help with SOMETHING! I would prefer to be contacted via PM. I can provide service results very quickly.
Edit by Doan: Even though you would like to be contacted by PM, I still suggest making a separate topic for this service and placing a link to that topic right here (replacing this message by me).

I wasn't sure where to post this...
So it goes here!
I need some Custom Music Help.
I am not tone deaf, but I am tone blind and dumb!
As you may know, I'm making a quicky garbage Dr. Who game.
I'd LOVE to get the theme music in there. Even just in one voice. Any voice. (I'll likely do something silly to it anyhow!!) Just those main 19 notes in the beginning (with appropriate wait commands) would be Wonderful!
Later, after I get back to Videogamedrome, I'll be asking for the Star Poop theme (original series).
But that is Months away at the earliest!
For now, I'll be thrilled just to get the Dr. Who music.
Thanks for offering this service, Solemn Poopiness! (See Doan's 1st Post in this thread to understand that joke) I never thought I'd want it, but here I am asking!!
Howzabout that?
EDIT: Anyone can help with this, as several offered on this board!
I just HAD to make my Poop joke!!
You understand...

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with those shows (Dr. Who and Star Poop), but I'm still willing/wanting to help. Have you tried the Pavilion's Midi Music File to RPGM2 Script Converter? And, if not, I think a lot of people could help and we could combine our efforts (basically, I only have relative pitch, and even then I don't have it that well... but I could script it easily) to try and figure them out if you posted files that we could listen to from some (probably illegal... ) source. Gl!

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with those shows (Dr. Who and Star Poop),... *gasp* ... but I'm still willing/wanting to help. Have you tried the Pavilion's Midi Music File to RPGM2 Script Converter? It spat out like 20 scripts when I tried the Star Poop (trek) theme. I really only wanted the core 7 notes of the theme, not 20 scripts for all the back up "voices" involved too. It was too much for me to sort through, knowing nothing of music. ...I could script it easily) to try and figure them out if you posted files that we could listen to from some (probably illegal... ) source. Gl! I found this quite quickly on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDxFqw36KQ0About 55 seconds in they play one version of the theme. The "bass line" is pretty much what I'm looking for. It is the closest thing to a melody in there. Thanks for considering this. ... Never saw Doctor Who?? Or Star Trek (what I call Star Poop)? ... Wow. I'm OLD!

Last Call!
Garbage Games are due on July 4th, so if nobody can help this weekend, I guess it'll be too late.
No problem if it does not happen. I have plenty else to do with this mini Mooster-Peace!
I just wanted to offer one last chance to get in the credits for this!
