I'm working on getting RPGM2 (well, getting it to work anyway, check technical forum for more info on that) and I have a game idea for a sort of stealthy RPG that follows the tale of six survivors trapped in a high school full of zombies, each has their own skills and must survive the zombie outbreak, in order to do this they must enter different areas of the school, (13 total, Halls, Gym, World Languages, Art, Science, Geogrpaphy, Cafeteria, Computer Lab, English, Library, Security Office, Math, and the Sewers.), clear the class hubs (center room of each area), find as many weapons as they can, (various common weapons and certain ones exclusive to each area), fend off zombies and infected (infected have been driven mad with rage and given incredible stamina, just before full zombification, essentially bosses), and figure out the cause of the zombie attack, all within five days.
Throughout the game you can change the ending by saving survivors and can play as some to unlock certain skills, your default characters are:
Cathy-Student Council President
Ed-Punk
You can also play as four other survivors, gaining the main skill of your party leader and having two more on your party for combat purposes.
Marcus-Security Guard-Can take extra damage and unlock any door in the school.
Mr.Higsby-Chemistry Teacher-Can heal himself with certain supplies and can make Substance Z, a type of acid that only effects zombies and infected.
Barb-Lunch Lady-Can resist heat and can run through crowds of zombies.
Sven-Foreign Exchange Student-Can act like a zombie and hide in lockers.
Essentially you play by going through areas and finding Offices, lockable rooms that can be made zombie free and give you a direct line to the main Office, your makeshift safehouse. Each area has a boss and some rooms change over time, IE the Gym is a dodgeball game turned sour by an infected on Monday, but is a school dance on Tuesday. You enter an RPG Battle by running into zombies head on or from the side, however you can attack them from behind and weaken them or even kill them instantly depending on your weapon. Each area also has survivors, totalling the game with 61(65 including the playable ones) rescuable people that alter the ending.
So this is my first game idea... good or not?
