Yes i know tichy sounds weird
But that is a good word thing is there are a lot of mistakes i have noticed:
1 the help screen for the input button thing has a typo It says X=5, this is rong X=7, and O=5
also, in the script condition, ? is the same as >
Im trying to remember what else. Oh yeah, if anyone is doing a cms and is using the display sell list within a repeat, like me, make sure you put a wait script end thing
*Thanx Ves* anyone else? (Also, I know that some have been covered in the DBS FAQ, but this will help some Newbs)

the 'force script end' command sometimes causes other scripts to end as well, and others to do wierd things.
sometimes removing lines from your script (like your sound effect troubleshooters) will change the way the entire script works.
sometimes you have to make an event 'apply in order' before 'apply together' so that the mechanics will work right.
sometimes the scripts just dont execute correctly. (i had alot of problems w/ this when doing the vbcs).
and tons others. its a picky system. but its fun.

Some of the text is still in Japanese when you hit start on it.
The script for the telling about the variable Button Input tells you the wrong numbers for what certain #'s refer to...
(I think in every script where you can enter a number you should be able to use a variable, if it can't use the # then just have it go to the closest or default at 0.....that would expand creation options so much!!!)
There are some other "tichy" things too can't think of them all.....
Oh if you have to many visual effect at a spot when you move opr rotate the camera it gets all glichy and slow like....

hitting start on a couple of options in the script editor will end up giving you something else from a different command, the help menu in the dungeon editor (wait a couple of seconds, if you left it on) has japanese by the L2 thing. there are probably more.

Tichy? Well anyway, just two things really: -You can only have a script tree of 9 branches. -Doing certain things in the default menu(using equipped items, displaying text boxes through item use), will cause the menu to "break". In some cases, pressing square will get you out...but that doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to move.

BloodKnight, what do you mean by "break"?
And for the 9 branches you can do script calling to make that 90 right?

BloodKnight, what do you mean by "break"? And for the 9 branches you can do script calling to make that 90 right? In some cases, the menu can still function, but no windows will appear afterward. In other cases, it'll stop completely. This is one reason why I couldn't use the default menu in some of my games, as I changed it up a bit to allow a few extra features without using that user option stuff, and it worked well too. And yes, you can call scripts, but that can be out of the question for some. After disassembling RPG Maker 2 and then assembling it again, it could have done well to stay in bug testing for a few more months. It's surprisingly very flexible, but it can annoy those who tear the whole system apart. Nothing anyone should be angry about though.

In the character model selection, Artist is called Cleric, and Cleric is called Artist. I think we've named them all now... ;D

Isn't there some mistake on one of the enemy models, like a ruler named dragon or something? I remember laughing when I saw that one. Oh yeah, I forgot but incase any wants to know (it's not in the start help at all), in the character, enemy, or object list, when scrolling through the default models you can change their Actions by hitting /_\ (or maybe [], I forget) in the default model selecting list. (it's kind of an oddity)

Bah, found out you can't duplicate events with building models, and you can't change an event's model to a building model. And I'm not going anywhere near the block count limit. I was always wondering about this, but I finally put my finger on just what was happening. I can get around this by having all events with building models put in right in the event placement (and making them transparent if need be), but it is a little more complicated that way.

have you thought about making two page events? have one page w/ the building graphic, one w/o a graphic?

Yeah, I wonder if you could duplicate an event without a graphic, then flip the flag that would change it to the building page. That seems like it possibly could be a way around it.

That's an interesting idea (multiple event pages). Never tried that, but as I mentioned before, I still got what I was trying to do to work by having the events there at the start and turning them transparent until needed.

basically, the whole game is "tichy", which can be fun . but then again, it can be a mind killer which can make it fun i guess, untill you take your anger out on something valuable nearby by slamming the trigger into it (ie: vase or some window or something) ;D

Max Drive fried yours too eh? well, i read i think from valksyas that you have to do uncrush to move a file from the max to mem. card. I learned this AFTER it happened to me too. 3 projects at the brink of being done gone... i have no regrets though now, cause my current games are a heck of a lot better! ;D

I was just deleting files off my mem card, nothing special.

What i was getting at is the only thing you can do is copy/move files to the max drive and uncrush from the max drive, any other option used has a risk of making everything in your mem. card become extinct

Tichy, like how how the game lags so horribly when you try to run more then ten VFX, or several events at once.
Memory limits aside, this has got to be my biggest gripe about RPGM2. I hope they fix this whenever the next installment comes out.
PS: just call me bump master T baby, oh yeah!
