So my grandparents are getting rid of their old computer and they're giving it to me. It won't be connected to the internet, but it will still be convenient for me because it will be in my room and away from the TV. So I can concentrate more on my writing. ;D Also, I'm not sure what kind of computer it is yet. I'm just glad that I'll have an easier time writing without outside distractions.

Well, I got it today. ;D It's a Windows 98, so nothing too special, but I'm using it mainly for my writing anyway.

If you don't like Windows 98, you could always put Ubuntu on it. It's much more secure and you'll have all the free programs you could ever want.

Bad news. The download takes 6 hours. However, I've still been having fun with it. I downloaded a FF7 desktop theme and it looks (and even sounds) great. I've pulled the game Myst out of my pile of old computer games and installed it onto my computer. I'm amazed at how well I'm doing on it (I've never beaten the game). Besides not being able to download Ubuntu, I've been having a good time.
