I have no clue if this is even possible, but I was just wondering if it was possible for Agetec to make a RPG Maker for the Wii, seeing as how it has motion sensors and all...

Have you considered the complexity that would go into writing a game which properly utilized the motion sensors? I may be wrong, but I imagine it would be pretty crazy.

AFAIK, the Wii technology is still in its infancy. New methods have been devised supposedly, to make developing for the Wii easier...
If Enterbrain is considering a RPG Tsukuru for the Wii with possible motion sensing technology utilized, it might be another 6 mo.- 2 years before we hear about it. You also have to consider development costs rising over the past decade.

I know, I was just wondering if it was at least SLIGHTLY possible.

That would be interesting, unfortunately I am not a big Wii fan. Dont know why, just dont really care for it. I am just fine with my PS3, my sister's Gamecube, and my cousin's Xbox that somehow magically foud it's way out of his bag and into my house when he moved to Florida lol.

If they make a RPG Maker for one of the next gen consoles, I would think that the 360 would be a better choice. Between Xbox Live and the hard drive that's in the fully optimized version of the 360 (not the core system, as there's a big difference between the two), it a done deal.
By the by, I don't know where the topic for introducing new people is, so I'll do so here and now. (sorry about this, but this is my first post, so...)
I am Haru, a being who wishes to drink from the fountain of wisdom that is this site and these message boards. I have long wished to create my own game and with RPG Maker 2 being a recent acquisition in my game library, I finally have the means to do so. (This is also so I can discipline myself enough to be able to learn even more difficult things, like C++) I hope that my presense is welcome.

Your presence certainly is welcome, and I'm glad to have you here. Feel free to introduce yourself further in the "Who We Are" topic, and also to talk about some of your game ideas in the relevant game forums.

An RPG Maker would be possible for the Wii. However, I don't believe Enterbrain is making one for the Wii at this time, though. It entirely depends on the Wii's inception (which is looking pretty damn good right now).
Since the 360 is a non-factor in Japan, it's down to PS3/Wii, though. It very could possibly be a Wii title, though it would use no waggle (I think).

I find it funny that Maindric would create a topic like this weeks before this announcement. That means either 3 things: 1) Maindric actually works with Enterbrain and is just toying with us 2) Maindric is psychic 3) He just got lucky

I'm still shocked people took that seriously. no one considered why Ixzion would have a playable early build of a new RPG Maker. no one considered why the image on his TV screen would be the exact same as a screenshot below that, only the screenshot is missing the pointer that was in the above image. Ixzion tried his best to make it very obvious. Every step of the way, he was trying to think of ways to make at an obvious joke. he kept saying april 1st all over the forums in topics about it too.

*shrug*
too many pronouns lead to misinterpretation. When people are excited about something, they usually dont take the time to pay attention to fine details until after they've satisfied their excitement.
