Hello Im working on the game the Lost Epic. I figurd out how to do the blacksmith and the tent scripting sort of but Im having problem with a new concept. When in battle if you make a critical hit to a target they will get hit so hard that they will fall back a few spaces. If the edge of the board is behind the character they hit an invisable wall and the screen shakes. I really don't know where to start with this for the scripting. All suggestions would be awesome thank you.

well, moving the character will be the same implications as placing grid points outside of the deployable area. what you will need to do is load the 'enemies' coordinates, modify them, and check them against the 'boundary'. if the modified coordinates lie outside of the boundary, set them equal to the boundary. if they are = or inside of the boundary, no modification is necessary. now have the 'enemy' move to the modified coordinates. hope that helps.
as for screen shake, i think theres a screen effect for this. just apply it if coordinates are greater then the boundary.
