I am nervous. They are gonna do it. On Kids WB. Today, at 9:30 AM Eastern Time. Loonatix Premiers. They reworked Looney Tunes characters for this: I'm extremely nervous. Bugs Bunny is my heroand they are tampering!! I need a cup of tea. Peace? <><><> EDIT <><><> To add to my stress the TV guide from my paper misprinted the time... it another hour... I'll make it somehow.

Oh No! Bugs is my favorite. Remember Rodak, if it sucks, its just another kids action cartoon, like that one batman cartoon where bruce wayne is old and aint batman any more, it never "happened".

I cried.
I went in with as open a mind as possible. I got past the fact that they were using character models I loved because they said it was not them.
But they used too many of the traits of the characters they were modeling too sparingly.
Take heed RPGMakers... this is what happens when you create product for a target audience rather than stick to your principles and create quality.
I am reminded of a story... (I like stories, and this one is a perfect analogy):
It is the story of a Dragon.
A real Dragon.
I owned one.
Really.
Did you ever hear of Nakamichi?
They make (made?) the top of the line Audiophile Cassette Decks that people drool over.
One day their engineers received orders to make an Auto Reverse Cassette Deck (they were popular and new at the time).
They did their research, found that when the head is rotated the wave forms did not match up and the quality would suffer, so the engineers told the Bosses no.
This angered the Bosses and they showed their wrath by ordering them to make the auto reverse cassette deck regardless.
These engineers were men of principle and creativity. They knew they could not meet their own standards if they made this product, and they created a monster...
The Nakamichi Dragon was born.
They poured as many new features and advances as they could (the newest Dolby Noise Reduction and Carver's Sonic Hologram Generator (Best $200 I ever spent on audio stuff) (it was available as a unit) and such.
But to meet the auto reverse problem they simply built a wide access panel for inserting the tape and a mechanical armature that physically turned the tape 180 degrees and put it back in place for playing the other side.
Auto Reverse!
They met their bosses demands and did not compromise their principles!
I salute them decades later!
The Dragon died. It was too expensive and did not make a lot of money for the company. But it did not lose money either.
It died an honorable death
Those folks at Warner Animation were told to make something with the classic characters, but to make it more appealing to a modern audience.
But that does not mean giving Toons guns.
There were some redeeming moments, but too few and too far between.
They tried to do the old "yes I will" "no you won't" switcheroo gag, but they shortened it and ruined it.
The secret of comedy can be found in the ancient Chinese Art of Thai
Ming.
I'll keep watching it even if only to explore masochism for a while.
But I am really just hoping that there was a rebellion at Warner and later episodes improve.
Toons with mecha and guns are not Looney.
This was not funny enough. Not nearly funny enough. Not even close to nearly funny enough. Not even approaching close to nearly funny enough. Not even trying to approach close to nearly funny enough.
And worse.
I hope it gets better.
That's my review anyway.
Peace.

I look at it this way, its just "another" lame ass wb cartoon show that will never interest me. And I got my good ol Loony Toons, loonatics dont fit in the batch. I wonder why they even did this. Wasnt cartoons like Duck Dodgers already popular and they didnt have to tap into there characters? Anyways, this show wont last long.
