I don't know what all my marks are yet. There isn't really a mid-term in Animation. I have several large projects due in December that will greatly effect my marks but so far my marks are in the 70-80% range, which is pretty good for such a difficult course.

I have not had a report card for decades, and even when I went back to college as an adult it had to be part time, but I did well enough.
I just want to contribute a bumper sticker I saw that one or two people here might appreciate...
It said "Honk if you passed Physical Chemistry!"
I always liked that one.
Good luck with the grades, all.
Peace.

That's pretty good there, for those who have reported their grades. I think I have to go along with ves here... I think I have a low B or a solid C in life. I haven't really accomplished a WHOLE lot, don't really believe in much, but as far as living goes, I think I'm doing pretty good.

Well, I am done with school, and with that said I probably have a good solid F in life. I am looking at many colleges, but the prices of many range from 7000 to 14000$ per semester. There is no way in hell I could ever afford that, and I dont ever want the stress of being that far in debt and paying bills on student loans for the rest of my life. I pretty much spend most of my days doing favors for everyone that dont really apreciate what I do for them. Maybe every once and a while I may get a thank you or two. But I think it was Bill Cosbey that said "The key to failure is trying to please everyone." Maybe I should follow that. Plus since when did finding a job become so damn hard? Anyways I am only 17, so I have alot of time to get my grade up.

I've said it before...
Community College is affordable and at least as good as, possibly even better than, University.
It is all I ever did and with my lowly Associate Degree I beat out folks with Bachelor's Degrees for my current job in charge of the labs for a Chemical Manufacturing Company.
And I paid my own way through, going part time.
It can be done and the rewards are well worth the effort.
Don't give up yet!
Peace.

Yeah, I actually have looked into community college. But I want to be in video game animation. Such as animation for character movement, objects, etc. Put in all the skills I have gotten from the VFX editor, in my latest game I have been making VFX bosses that are out there, and I have been giving them really complex animations, and I think I would have fun doing that as a full time job. Even the scorpian tail animation in HH2 is a display of that I could do this kind of job. Then maybe in the future I can climb my way to game designer and get my ideas out. I have grew up playing games, and I want to be a part of it. I hope I can soon find an affordable game design school in a near by state (because there are no courses like that in Montana.)
Wish me luck.

My community college is adding Video Game Animation to the digial animation program (actually all my instructors are going to a conference this weekend to discuss how to set up the program). If you have want it takes, employers don't care where you learned your skills, all they care about is your portfolio. If your work is good, you'll get hired. Continue to prove your worth and your raise in the ranks until you can be a game designer. It may be a long slog, but if you you are really decated, you can do it. Good luck.
