Well this is my last week at home before I leave for 6 weeks. I applied to Governor's School and got in.
Governor's school is kinda a smart kid summer school thing. You apply for it in either Math, Business, or Science. They take all the applicants and the top so many in each category get to go. I made it in Math :-)
So it begins on the 4th of June. And I will be living on College campus at North Dakota State University with all my classes and food and lodging all paid for by the state. I live there and on the weekends we go on field trips like to the Mall of America, Valley Fair, Canoe trip, Museum, 3M, etc...
So I'm rather excited. They keep us really busy but I do get computer and internet access so I will hoepfully be around the boards on occasion. But just wanted to let ya all know. No video games for that long may kill me, but I'll make a bunch of new friends and have full access to the swimming pool, gym, weight room, etc... It's funny my mom is freaking out with empty nest syndrome and I haven't even left yet. haha OH well...
Maybe I'll get ambitious and release something this week before I leave....

Well tonight is my last night at home before leaving for Gov School I will have net access but won't be full time to check the boards over. Your all pretty clean and I don't have to worry about watching out much especially since Ves and Doan have been around a lot more. So it's not like yourr really gunna miss much without me posting as often. But maybe I'll fill ya in on how everything is going so yeah later. Nonalkkoon!(bye in theta)

Hello from NDSU.
It's absolutely crazy here. We're doing college level stuff and we're all just ugh yeah umm hehehe....
I mean they gave us a TON of homework on the very FIRST day!!!! Th computer programming class was really boring cause it was more of an intruduction lesson. Didn't learn anything, just answered all the questions. Making LOTS of new friends and HOPEFULLY my brother will come give me my new cell phone (razor) in a few days so I can call some of you. BF I forgot to bring your number so if U e-mail/pm it to me I may call. But we are kept extremely BUSY here. It's intense but we're all inb the same boat so it helps. It's nice to have students of my calibur with me not holding me back.
But nice to have access to a comp again. Food's good. (my second-double cousin once removed cooks here) and FFA is also visiting NDSU for a week so I saw another cuz.
It's really overwhelming here especially the rate and content of what they're all throwing at us. I love math but holy cow do they run through stuff fast. We did a whole 6 chapters on 3D math and vectors and stuff today like (!!!!!!!!!!) yeah
talk later, bye
~Nash

C'mon, college/university level math is easy! I remember when I took Linear Algebra (200 level course), I really didn't do anything in the course (and that includes showing up for class) until a day or two before the final exam. Then I pulled an all-nighter, reading the text book for the first time. Got a half-decent grade too. Anyway, glad to see you're having, er, fun!

Yeah, Nash! I guess math can be fun for other reasons as well... I don't know if I could go through with going to school again like that, but everything else sounds like fun. And I kind of like math as well (I guess you have to to enjoy RPG Maker 2 ...jk). Anyway, have fun, and good luck with that math chick.

Thanks DK! It's still crazy here! tons of work.... Today, in week two Tuesday I FINALLY understand the concept of a vector as in what it actually is! This one teacher didn't explain it worth crap! Now this other teacher in another class taught it and it makes perfect sense. But we are all sooooo lost in this one guys class. But we're done with him on Thursday!!! THANK GOD! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will be in minneapolis Minn. We will go to 3M, Mall of America, Valley Fair, and a Museum. I hear the hotel is nice too.
The "hot math chic" is named Kayla and she has my same exact birthday. It's Awesome. We have to be careful though around the counselors and what they see us doing. So we went waaaay off in a field area on campus ;-)
For a taste of what we're doing. We'll get like a plane that acts as a reflector. We will get 2 vectors. We have to figure out at one time will the vector (and angle) will bounce off the plane in 3d space and hit the other vector wich is also moving with time. IT'S CRAZY!!!!! Talk to you guys later!

ha yeah it's interesteing. Just tough as hell.
I gotta call you sometime Nathan. Only prob is I only get free minutes after 9:00, and I don't want to call you too late... Ves says I should talk to you about Vectors and porgramming. I talked to him til late last nite.
But i gotta work on my big project for Thursday since and get ready for the BIG weekend.
I'm going to an american haunting tonight....i don't think that's a good make-out movie though :-( But hey nothing wrong with getting a girl to grab onto you. :-)

Had my big weekend this last one! Was lots of fun and went on lots of roller-costers. Saw some museums and stuff too. I also bought to SWEEEEEEET T-Shirts in the Mall-of-America. Both nintendo ones. One is green with the green mushroom on it and says 1up the other shows mario jumping and says "made in the 80's"
Math should hopefully be easier now that I'm done with Dr. Cope. I guess eventually we get another new math teacher at some time too. He teaches us how to solve a rubiks cube really fast and easily. :-) I also bought a rubiks cube in the mall of america. I'm a little DDR depressed... I tried this other kind in the mall with diagnol arrows and a mid spot and OMG!!!! Very confusing...I'm so use to DDR... Oh well.
