That says "I wonder how many stupid Americans this fake image will fool," in Japanese. Haha! Just kidding. I don't know Japanese . I've never played Harvest Moon, either...

Who doesn't love it... It gets you away from all the violent videogames and lets you just chill out. It also shows how hard it is to raise a farm, a family, and a community all together.

For sure man. Harvest Moon is a great example of how a game can be a blast, but not violent.

I love Harvest Moon! :-)
I wonder what it will be like on Wii?

Apparrantly, you use the wiimote like you would use farm tools, you tilt it to water plants. Swing it when using the sickle, make a thrusting up and down motion when making babies with your wife, etc.

i was aware of a DS harvest moon, but not wii. I think the UI is, well.... too weird like. the health bar on the MM was fine, but this looks too 'adventure', and not 'fun', know what i'm saying? but i'm sure it'll be great and lol on your last assumption on the wii remote, bigfoot

Its not an assumption (besides the making babies part.) wii.ign.com/articles/724/724532p1.htmlI personally can't wait to play it, I love the new artstyle, and I hope it adds some new features to it, besides how you use your tools.

i was referring to the baby part : 'lol on your last assumption'.
well, it atleast looks more fast paced then AWL, so that looks like a good plus (i've been waiting for them to make a good HM with a close in camera)
and lol: "To water your planets, you tilt the controller downwards as you would a bucket."
Grow up and be a healthy planet, mars, lol

Maybe in this one you can actually drink the ale instead of watch it just sit there in the barrels just molding away. I see that in all games and I want to drink that damn stuff hahaha.

Hmm, did not click the link cause I am at school and semi busy atm, but Harvest Moon for the Wii? I am not sure what to think. I have never played a Harvest Moon game. But I am a HUGE fan of the Animal Crossing games. Some of the best things ever.
How does HM and AC compare? I always looked at them in a same type of a way except HM was not real time and a bit more focused on a farm or something. But hey I have never played one.

Well, I guess that both games have a simulation factor to them. You can customize the village/farm to your own personal taste.
The only difference is Harvest Moon has an objective (whereas Animal Crossing really doesn't).
