So, I've been tring to make my own airship for my game right, and the making it part is easy. My problem is, when making any object from the building editor a vehicle the game warps the player to the corner of the object, where the event maker is placed. I can only see two possible solutions, and I've yet to figure out how to implement either.
1.) Make the player position forced to another spot in the object (I don't even think this is possible with a vehicle).
2.) Create the vehicle with multiple pieces so they all fit together and that way the player moves to the corner of the intial piece only, allowing more control (this seems just as unlikely, I know I can move two events at once, but can I move two events together as a vehicle)?
These are the only two options I came up with, and both seem impossible. I hate to think anything in this game is impossible, just hard to script.
All help is appriciated as usual.

Solution three is to make the party invisible so the player can't see them. That is what the presets do, and for most vehicles this makes sense since the party is inside it. Is there some reason you need to see the party on the airship?
P.S. I don't think either of your ideas will work. I tried number 1 with no success and number two seems unlikely to work since the party will be on square 0,0 in all vehicles they enter.

I think #2 has the best chance of working. Give me some time to think this one over.

I do make the party invisible, they're supposed to be inside the airship anyway. My problem was that the airship would pivot from the 0,0 origin when using it. Thats why I wanted to make multiple pieces for the airship, and have them move all together, that way, I can assign the party to a piece in the middle so it would fly right. But, like I said, Idon't think its possible with a vehicle.
I've been thinking that maybe I'l just use the airship as a teleport. I'll make using the ship an item use, and let the player pick from a set of destinations. Airship appears/ party boards/ airship flays way/ screen fade blcak/ teleport to new location. I could do it as a standard event for the game.

Couldn't you just shrink the party and the airship?

There is no point is srinking the party since the display is off anyway, but srinking the airship might be a way to make it look a little better as it's turning since the ship will turn on the spot. I suppost it's an option. What would look cool is if you reduced the size of the ship as it rose in the air so that it would look like it was rising faster and higher than it really was. It might be worth trying.

I can't seem to get this to work how I want it too, so I'm just going to change how its applied.
Since in the game the airship is the last vehicle the party obtains I'll make entering the airship on the world map give the player the option to simply move to a new location or enter the airship and select their destination from the map on the bridge.
I'll just keep the hot air balloon and the raft as secondary vehicles that'll spawn based upon where you are on what map.
