Everytime I enter the test play mode, or start one of my game files my characters walk funny.
I thought I'd find the solution to this problem, but alas, I am dumbfounded.
Everytime the character makes a step the "walking" animation restarts from its zero point. So the characters arms sort of jerk when he's walking and when he runs they out right spasim.
Does anyone know what the problem here is or how to fix it

What???
Is it that stupid multiple model setup that messes this up!
The damn stoopid presets, even in hard mode that taunt me with their stoopidness!

Yep lol! Just toy around with it, I forgot what I did, but I got it working without keeping it default, glad to help.

question: how do i make it so that when a character dies, their model still shows up on the screen and walks with the party? cause i have some dialogue after important battles and its kinda weird when a character talks and isn't there.

Just set there death model instead of the casket to a character model.

TFR. Are you sure the speed rate of the model isn't set to 100. Because I don't use a coffin for when my characters die (their regular model as you said) and mine move just fine.

For Smurf's question there, I thought I'd share my idea with everyone about people talking when they are 'dead'. I changed that status from 'dead' to 'dying' so that they have the same effect and in all ways the system sees them as 'dead', but for the story they are still alive and able to talk, just too weak to battle. (I still have the normal model working for them, instead of disappearing)
The only way people actually die in my game is within the story, never in battle.

I think defaulty it calls it KO, no? Well, I changed mine to say KO (and most non-rpgm-rpgs do this too) and it seems fine (basically same as what DKoL said). You can also make them be revived with 1 hp after a battle if they're KO'd (I plan to do this too). For the twitchy character thing, it could be caused by the model change. Here's an old topic from the agetec forum with my findings on the subject of the model sets (and proportion altering): p068.ezboard.com/fagetecfrm20.showMessage?topicID=2287.topic

Open the party member editor, go to the adv tab, and look for the priority tab. You change the character images here based on what condition they have. Death is the top one (priority 999).

I had to set all the models to none to get my characters to stop twitching

Same here, final rune. I don't know why but there is definitely something glitchy about the model sets

Hey, guys. Are you completely sure the speed for all the models was set to 100? That was my problem, but I figured it out and everything worked great afterwards.
If nothing works, I'd advise to have all status effects work in battle (all status effects are removed after battle, kind of like in the Lunar games).

What's weird is my game doesn't even have any status effects made. I don't get it.
