There is a similiar thread about title screens and images that may help (I believe it is called "Save Points and Title Screen"), but briefly; create the script, place it in the enter map slot in the World Organization for the first setting in your game, and flag it if you intend to use that setting again (or it will repeat).

Oh come on...
I think Vespuleth will back me up on this when I say do not let a mistake cause you to just give up! I do not know what you may have had changed, but if you learn from it, then you you will be welcome here.
There are rules everywhere and if we just banished everyone who crossed even the tiniest line, this forum would empty out quickly!
I hope you got what you needed and will feel free to continue as a "Citizen of Doans Domain."

*cough, ugh I'ld be careful. That ves guy is one of the mods. The reason he edited your post is that all help topics name's should have something that pertains what you need help on. Go to the top banner board and check the rules of posting and stuff. No biggy your new, but make sure ya know em.

I'm glad the "official muck-a-muck" is behind us and we can get back to the reason we spend time here in the first place! OK, when you say that it is grayed out, what do you mean? Is this in an empty dungeon? If so it may be the background colors need adjusting. I am also unclear on what you mean by "access it". Which method of placing the text are you using? The Message box or the "scroll" feature (or another method)? The scroll feature is touchy. There is another thread that goes into this (I think the title is vague and includes something like "What The ***&!?" ... I'll look for it and edit it in here soon). Basically with Scrolling text you need to double space everything or it all gets crushed together. Text size matters there too. My theory on this is that the game was made for Japanese Characters which use different spacing. They're BIG! What you want to do is easily done, but the wide variety of ways to do it make me need a little more information to answer your question fully. I hope what I said helped some anyhow. Keep at it, and let us know if you need more help. Peace. ============= 10:00 Break Edit: ============= Yes, I do this from work. I just can't stand sitting around waiting for things (which happens far too often) without doing something! Anyway: the thread to which I refered was titled WTF?... and is here: doansdomain.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=Help&action=display&thread=1113312769It may have something you can use. Back to the world of dreams...

In case you still can't seem to locate it, all the Forum Rules can be found here in topic labeled Forum Rules which is in the Domain Main section.
Also, if the greyed out part you're talking about is the slot where you pick an event for the enter map script in world organization, then its probably greyed out because the event is not registered as a 'system' event. You can alter this by selecting the box in the event editor that says 'normal' and changing it to 'system'. If its something else, then I'm completely lost.

Oh, that kind of "grayed out"... I was thinking of the way it showed up on the screen in test play, not in the event editor!
Oops.

Welcome to the board! I'm sure everyone will be able to help you a lot with any problem you have. I haven't had a problem that wasn't solved yet.
As for the text, I use auto, since I use the same 'dungeon' in the future, and if it is in the Enter Map part it will always play. But if it's just a cutscene to a dungeon you will never visit, Enter Map works just as good.
