I've been hearing about this Max Drive(I think thats what its called) that lets you play games from RPG Maker 2 or something.
What exactly does it do? How much does it cost? Where could you buy one?
Thanks in advance.
Peace

Max Drive, lets you put your RPGM2 Games on a save file which is saved on to your USB Max Drive. Then If you have Windows XP that is, if not Max Drive comes with an installation disc, you just plug it into your USB port and you can get game saves from anyone who has RPM2 save files. They cost around $25 You can get them at EBgames if you have one, or ebay.comor amazon.com<----Thats where I got mine, I like them better anyways, I got mine in about 4days after I ordered.

Note that the Max Drive works with any PS2 save, including RPG Maker 3. It works both ways, allowing you to share files on the Internet with other people as well as getting files from others you can use. You can also buy a Max Drive or Acton Replay MAX (includes extra software and features) directly from Code Junkies

Beware of data corruption on it!! I don't have one so I don't know specifically what that means though...

Basically, don't use the maxdrive to delete files or move multiple files. If you just use it to move files from your PS2 to a computer and back again, it should work fine.

Yes, the best thing I think to do is at least back up your saves on the computer so if something does happen, you don't have to start from scratch.

So, would you say Maxdrive is the *recommended* way to get rpgm2 games to and from online?

I'd recommend it. With the other two (SharkPort, X-Port), you need to hook your PS2 up with your computer . The Max Drive lets you use a flash drive device to transfer your files from your PC to your PS2 and vice-versa (you use the USB Ports of your computer and your PS2).

Just picked up my Max Drive ;D SO far the only problem is my computer doesnt load anything that works in MS DOS, so i cant use the install disc. Luckily I can still transfer the files which is good enough for me
