You are asking for a lot. This would be better in the Technical Help Forum, where you will find our "Common Script Database" full of lots of stuffs! The VFX Editor Guide I'm writing (linked to in my signature) has a tutorial I wrote for our database, but is hard to find in there. It covers Doors and Flags and Chests. Written for the Absolute Beginner. Like the rest of the (STILL Unfinished) Guide. If you have ant Specific Questions about something you are trying to do, it would be easier to answer. Please post such questions in the Technical Help section. Good Luck with it. And Welcome to The Boards! Peace

The thing is, we are not going to try to help you if you're not willing to help yourself. Read through the information that's available in the Technical Help forum before you ask for someone to just make a game for you. The whole point of RPG Maker 2 is to make your own game, not to come up with ideas and then have us figure out how to do it. Guide to success with RPGM2: 1. Visit www.doanthenado.com/guides.html and read any guide that seems to address something you are having trouble with. 2. Use this message boards search feature to search for answers to any questions you have. 3. Play around some with different parts of the game. Press Start all over the place in the game: there's a nice little help feature there for you. 4. If you've done all that and still can't figure out an answer to your question, post here, but please indicate what you have already tried and what exactly you are having trouble with. I have said this a million times, but we are not paid to help you with RPGM2. We come here because we like to play the game and we want to share what we've made with other like-minded people. We're not here to hold your hand and tell you how to make your game, but we have made nice FAQs and guides that should give you a push in the right direction. Please don't make us rewrite everything we have already written because you're too lazy to look for answers that are already out there. Good luck and have fun with this great game!

Your welcome to add me to messenger and when I'm I'll help you whatever need be. We were all at your starting point, some of use that were at the beginning had to figure everything out on our own (like me, bloodknight, doan, etc...) while others got the benefit of starting later and being able to get help. Sometimes it's best to figure things on your own but to get you started with some of the basics and Ideas, I'll do my best. I'm not sure how much I'll be on today. today was kinda my RPGM2 catch up day.

No, I remember when I first started scripting, the first conversation I made got me so pumped up. I was so happy.
About flags, I will make an example for you to use later.

Flag example: -------------------------
Making a event talk but when you talk to them again they say nothing,
make some text for your character"blah blah blah" after your done with your text insert this FLAG 261: on
now go to the event editor and make a new page(look for the new page button) Now click on the 0 conditions and go to where it says IF FLAG IS ON select FLAG 261, also make sure you give a model for the character or they will disapear.

You may need to use both flags and variables for script branches. However, since your just starting out, I'd advise you not to use them. When you've become more adept to the system, you'll be surprised what you can do with SBs. I'll explain the functions for the 3 main ones:
Condition: This is sort of like for page conditions, only it's run in the script. You can do various things that you can't do on the page conditions (ex. see if a variable is greater or equal to another variable, etc.)
Repeat: Works just like condition, only any commands between the Script Branch Repeat and its Script Branch End will repeat as long as the conditions are met.
Sort: This command allows you to branch the script, allowing for multiple scenarios. Insert this command, then use the Apply If command for each case until you reach the Script Branch End.
Anyway, hope that might help you to understand what they do a little better.

Since this post is definitely more along the lines of Technical Help, I'm moving it to that forum.
