Just as it says I made a guide to do a 3rd Gen ACBS system. All the basics are there to make attacks for you and an enemy along with damage checks. Expansion on the preset system is extremely easy and limitless. Explanation on how to make your own attacks and whatnot included. wah.midco.net/brocknash/3rdGenGuideV1.0.zipContains screens of all scripts

Yeah I can imagine it would be a pain in the rear to print out though. Well maybe not that bad, without margins you could get 6 screens on a page and print in black and white. It would only take 11 pages to print out then.
Even if you aren't gunna use the guide you should check it out and tell me what ya think of the guide text. I reddened text that was essential to learning to making new weapons and effects etc...
It's pretty cool how the system is pretty simple(short) and yet very complex(many things you can do with it).

Thank you, Nash. After my little brothers saw games like Vanished Nights, Tales of Goblia, and your own Zelda game, they've been bugging me to create a Zelda game for them. Of course, I was having trouble with making an AI and proper damaging script (The HP would decrease, but the enemy would fly across the screen until it bumped into something). You're awesome, man.

Heh yeah I just gave the guide a quick read. And honest to say, there wasn't much to read for such a complicated type of battle system. May I suggest for version 1.1 or whatever, that you further explain how to do such things.

Yeah suggestions for the next version are open as said in the guide. If you could be more specific I'ld be glad to expand. Maybe a few more attack example, spells, a combo script, some more advanced enemy AI. The current guide will get you on your way though.
Yes and it's so simple which is why the 3rd gen system is so awesome. It's simple yet unbelievably powerful in what it can do.
Thanks for the comments guys.
