Alright, I want to make a fighting tornamnt, I know how to make it so after every battle I win I get better prizes, but how do I make it so that if I lose the battle, the whole thing ends? And then gives the prize?

Hmmm the Tech help is mainly for little things, sorry to be rude, but talking to you on MSN, with your abilities your not ready for this type of thing, I suggest doing stuff you can do without much help and then work your way to the hard scripting. Sorry if I sounded rude.

I'll give you the one technical thing about this that you'll need and people without technical know-how of the DBS may not know: The default Variable [Battle Result] will hold a value depending on whether the party won, lost, or retreated after the battle ends, and you'll have to use it to alter what happens in the default "Party Wipe-Out" Script so that none of that happens. Otherwise, I agree with RB on this. What you're asking for would require a whole load of scripting. Show more effort by coming close on your own, then come and ask for more detailed help.

Well, someone just asked this at gamefaqs, so I'm gonna recruit him by posting it here. (It was asked by both Maindric and the guy at gamefaqs, whom might actually be Maindric now that I think about it, either way, time to try and recruit someone ) To cancel the Game Over Sequence: Make a Custom Flag called [Death Allowed] Turn this Flag On whenever you want the party to be allowed to have the party defeated but not have the "Party Wipe-Out" Script run. Go to the default "Party Wipe-Out" Script. Copy everything in it. Copy everything in it twice if you're nervous. Then delete everything in it. Make a Condition: Flag: [Death Allowed] = Off command, then Paste what you have copied in between that command and the Condition End command.

When I get home I shall try to work with this, but for the time being, I cannot. Thanks for the help.
