I am relatively new to rpgm2 and I have looked for the answer to my question all over this forum. Anyway, my question: I built several buildings in the "Building Database" from scratch and then proceeded to place them on a map. I was able to place two of them, but when I tried to place any other building it was invisible. The only exception was the preset "port" Also all characters and objects were visible. I placed the invisible buildings anyway and went to "World Organization" to view my map. Only the visible builders were...well...visible. I already checked to make sure I wasn't adding them to the "B-data" but I don't think that would have mattered anyway. Can anybody tell me why this is happening and how I can go about fixing this problem? It is kinda hard to build a town out of invisible buildings. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

You have a block limit on how many can be placed. I don't recall the exact number, I'm sure someone else will post it, But you can surprisingly still get a lot of stuff on especially with creative building. Also people who have good scripting skills can have buildings loaded in and out when they are and aren't in use.

In fu-ma the first town has buildings bigger than the one I used and it has several of them. I used the preset farmhouse and my own custom house of about equal size and it was invisible, should the preset farmhouse take up all of the block space in my map? If I put them down as events with no scripts will there still be a limit on blocks or would it count each one as an event (I guess I could check this in the game later tonight)?
Sorry I have so many questions. Thanks for the reply.

Feel free to ask away. We're here to help. And the reason why Fuma can have so many blocks is like I said with creative building. Unnecessary blocks inside the building should be eliminated. Gunna put a window there? Leave the block out, etc....

The block limit per "World Organization" ("World Organization" = "Object Placement" + "Event Placement", so that's an answer to one of your questions) is 512.
What I recommend doing is in the "Note" for each "Building," putting their Block Number. Note that you can find the Block number by simply subtracting the number of blocks remaining (found in the "Building Editor") from 512!! That's because 512 is also the individual "Building" block limit. Make sense?
Otherwise, yep, like Nash said, after you're done making a "Building" you want to Delete the spaces in the middle of it that won't be visible. So, for example, a 3x3 building would have the center block and center-bottom block deleted at the end, making it consume two less blocks. The bigger the building, the more blocks saved and later in Object Placement, the more buildings you can place. Make sense?
