i'm working on a platform engine and it's coming along great but.........................i need help on making your jump like across gaps and such i already have -collectable coins of different values -moving platforms(only up and down, left and right almost finished) that you can move on to get across gaps -elevators -special items that work like the stars in super mario 64 i really only need help with the jumping

As far as the jumping, what do you have so far? What is it that you need help with? Do you already know how you plan to implement this, or do you have no idea?
In general, if you want people to help you with something like that, it's a good idea to give a few more details and to also be sure to indicate that you have tried some stuff on your own.

Jumping across a gap is a tad bit difficult for someone who is new to RPGM2. But good luck figuring it out.

I'm not new to RPGM2 but jumping is something i've never done before. all i have so far is the character jumping upward and doing a flip-ish thing

Uh, Float script command and if you need it, invisible Objects... but that was for Event based jumping, not for jumping anywhere/everywhere. Gl.

Already been down that road, making a platformer is a pain in the butt. In order to have less effort in the event department, you basically have to have all levels be in dungeons, since block collision does typically well in those. World maps are just too difficult to work with, and have stable platforming mechanics.
