10:00:00 to 12:00:00
From my experience most people say a lot higher than what they end up making, but from what I have planned and such it looks like that'll be pretty close.

I have no idea how long my final game will be. At least 20 hours probably, as I plan on a lot of side stories and a long main quest. My game will be replayable to, since different things will happen depending on what characters are in the party.

Yep.
Okay, so I actually have no idea at all how long any of my games are going to be. I just found it amusing that you wanted the time in hours:minutes:seconds.
I currently have one game temporarily on hold that will probably be a long game with many endings. Some of these endings could be obtained within 10-15 hours, while others will take more work. I will hopefully be able to case for many different scenarios to allow for a lot of replayability, in which case, obtaining every ending could take 60+ hours.
I would like to create a game for the the Pavilion's Insanity contest that is lengthless - the player can play for however long they want (like Tetris or a sports title, but not actually like either of those). I have two other game ideas, one that would last about 20 hours at the most (a good candidate for Pavilion contest #3), and another that could go anywhere from 15-30 hours, depending on how much the player got into the game. I will post more information about these three games as I begin concrete plans for them.

Gee, Doan for someone whose only demo is a single castle and no battle system, you're being pretty ambitious Still, that castle was pretty impressive. I just wish you would work on a game (any game) so that we can see some more of your ability to create.

As of now: 06:00:00
As I'm planning: 10-12 hours
I'm not going into a really long game, just a action filled trip. Though I plan on adding replay by making a online ranking for certain mingames. Also for some special exculsive game files as well.

I would like Vanished Nights to last at least 15-20 hours, if not more. But I guess the amount of time would depend on how easily you can solve puzzles and traverse the dungeons. And I plan on having two different endings (or at least ending sequences), so I hope that will make the experience last longer. Heck, I'd hope the game is fun enough that people will want to replay it just for the sake of playing it again.

Yes, judging how long your game will be is hard, without playing it. My best estimate leads me to believe that my game could be beaten in 15 hours at the earliest, if you knew exactly what you were doing. However, it would be more likely that people wouldn't go about the game that fast, do more sidequests, or just in general take longer to complete the game. So I estimate that an average person would take about 30 hours: 0 minutes: 0 seconds. 30 solid hours of entertainment, more if you want to get all the endings.

I can't really say how long my game is. It'll be pretty damn short if you know what your doing! Since my game is much puzzle based, that's what takes up the majority of the time and if ya know all the puzzles it should go quick. However you could get stuck for hours on a puzzle as well.

I'm aiming for at least 40 hours, it's very story based. You can observe my previous progress from this Agetec topic (http://p068.ezboard.com/fagetecfrm20.showMessage?topicID=2346.topic). All future updates will probably be on this site though. I would post it but I don't want the Max Drive earasing my progress so I'm containing myself until my second memory card arrives. On a somewhat related note, what are the qualifications in order to get a forum? Do you just need to to send a demo of your game? I'm also excited to test out Doans game so I'll probably wait a few hours before I send my game.

I'm aiming high. I want 70+ hours. I think I can do this because I am going to combine two games into one instead of making a sequel to the first game.

Yay, I can finally post mine now that I'm working on something. (Not playable yet, but since I've been working on it for at least three weeks, and even though over half that time was spent doing nothing, I'm optimistic.)
10 hours? I'm not completely sure. Especially since I'm trying to use a CBS, and I'm not sure how long the average battle will wind up taking. And there are a couple other things I haven't decided on (like battle and puzzle frequency).

Ergh... I'm not for sure at all. I want it to be a longer game... not something one could sit down and beat in a day's time, no matter how much of the day they devoted to it. But, I'm not aiming for a specific time; I don't want to fall short and end up throwing filler in to make it longer. I don't think that will happen, though... I'm at about an hour of play time right now (one boss battle, and maybe six or seven random-ish battles) and the important part of the plot's really just getting started. Everything before that is just sort of leading up to it. So... unsure as of yet, I guess is my answer.

I'm pretty unsure too, but by the looks of it my earlier post is too short. It'll probably be roughly 10-20 hours to complete, which is a big gap, but the way the game's set up it could be done pretty quickly. I'm also adding in scene skipping, warping to places from the menu, instant game-over-restarts, etc. that are making it go much quicker, which I think is good since I'm aiming anf have achieved replay value with the private actions, sidequests, multiple endings, relationship values, etc. doansdomain.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=William/end promo for my game
